Hello everyone! I am fairly new here, however for the last few months I've been saving up to build myself a new gaming pc as I have been running 2 laptops since giving my old desktop, (An AMD Phenom II build) to my gran a few years ago. I replaced that system with a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro (Non Retina) with 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core I7 3850M. Not exactly a powerhouse but it has done the job so far. I also got a HP Pavilion G6 with an AMD A10 APU and Radeon 7660G graphics, not the best for gaming but it has coped, with the sacrifice of in-game quality. I thought I may as well build myself a new gaming PC ass I've never had a true, dedicated machine for such the purpose, so here is what I am proposing. (Please Note: I live in the UK, all my prices are in £ Sterling and I am using scan.co.uk to base my prices off. I shall also include a link to the saved basket where all the parts are saved!)

A few questions I know people are going to ask:
Q) Why are you not using a custom loop if you want to water-cool?
A) I don't have the knowledge or time to build a custom loop, maybe in a few years time!
Q) Why such an old processor?
A) Yes! The FX8350 is a few years old now, but I've always had AMD desktop's. I am no fanboy but it is the cheapest bang-for-the-buck for me at the moment!
Q) Why not go down the Intel route?
A) Cause I don't want to?
What do you guys think. Im open to sensible suggestion on better parts as long as they fit within the price range that is outlined!
Cameron!
