  1. unfortunately I'm at work, I can't watch youtube. Try to reapply thermal paste again and add more into it.
  2. if you are the one who pays the bill it's ok if your parents pays the bill, it's BAD.
  3. old thermal paste? glue? all heatsink comes with "new" thermal paste if it's packed with it. AMD installation is so much easier than Intel because it has a bracket on motherboard. I think you mess up with something here.
  4. lol, I've had similar question years ago well with hardware technically it's not possible, because HDMI port is Output only, not input. but I think it's possible via software https://avatron.com/get-air-display/ Also there are other similar solution software based. But I never try it, maybe I will someday. btw this also works with tablet and phones
  5. I never had any chromebook What is the processor? Because my laptop is an old B960 dual core, and it runs fine, lag/slow is just expected but never freezing. so I'm guessing anything new would be better than that my concern with chromebook is most are using emmc instead regular HDD or SSD, so I don't know if that amount will be sufficient.
  6. CPU has been like this for at least a decade, it will throttle when it's idle, and go up when it's active. how is this surprising you? Doesn't matter intel or AMD About voltage it will only use voltage that already required in first place to accommodate fluctuation in speed. The only concern here is the temp, re-apply your thermal paste maybe. or even better get 3rd party cooler?
  7. I'm more curious how the hell did that happen. Actually I think I know what happen it most likely overclocking gone wrong since the burnt was around the back chipset.
  8. 70ms is laggy? first world problem. you can ignore that. At this point, your most reasonable option is looking for another ISP. putting more money into current connection won't help that much However since you said it was fluctuating it is possible that you get a bad modem from ISP, ask them to replace it first and start again from there, is this cable or dsl?
  9. just 1 sentence you already contradicting yourself.
  10. if it can boot an usb drive I don't see why not, it still an x86 system. My only concern is can you revert it back? does it have recovery disk or is it in the hardrive?
  11. The only features you lose is the ability to lock your card MicroSD with adapter somehow can't do it.
  12. at least educate your self this has been asked too many times https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/782130-are-the-os-keys-on-reddit-legit/#comment-9862295
  13. if you really want to against this case, read your contract, to see if the software was included in contract pay the "broken contract" fees. if the software wasn't included in contract you can counter claim it, and since you already fulfill your penalty, they no longer have any reason why to do that in first place, the chance of winning is high.
  14. agreed, but in this case, even the best scenario if court is involved the op still had to pay penalty that they demand. he is the one who breaking the contract. The software issue is another case which also can sued for whatever reason, but I doubt regular person would go that far, considering court fees, lawyer fees, and time that would be required to this ridiculous practices.
  15. not if the software was included in the contract, which obviously OP never read. there so many loopholes and unclear situation in this case.
  16. idk, man the solution is easy, format, reinstall. done in minutes. but your problem is not the computer, it's the contract. if you go to court you will lose anyway. I mean, 24months.... why would you sign that contract.
  17. I never understand how even this claim shows up I mean, the entire AMD line up was based on GCN every GPU released was just a refresh/rebadge of HD 7000 series up until polaris came through. Ofcourse at least it will improve, specially when new DX12/Mantle/Vulkan was used, because the main point of GCN was build around that API. The problem is most user will just rounding up this and think ALL GENERATION AMD GPU are ages better Yeah... how about no, HD 6000 and below doesn't even have supports for new driver.
  18. Let see. Raid 0 Broken Fix Good luck.
  19. Buy a router that supports 3rd party firmware such as OpenWRT DDWRT TOMATO Gargoyle because most of time, it's not the hardware faults, in my case it's always bad firmware and if the stock firmware isn't doing better at least you have other option (ie not buying a new one) Sure there are interference, which going to "spiked" the connection but you can prevent it by getting 5Ghz access point. Most people complained about wireless is they are not getting the speed they were signup/payed for, well duh, it's wireless.

  21. Are you Trading?or You buying? Also why would you want to trade your key immediately after you bought it? Steam policy has changed a lot to prevent scenario like this eg: Someone get your account password, with paypal log in it, buy bunch of stuff and transfer it immediately to another account. Have this scenario ever cross in your mind?
  22. how is this make any different with paid products? The only company who big enough and dare to against government are Apple, Microsoft and Google, because they can afford it. If you think VPN company would never hand your information if government ask for it, you are so naive.
  23. Sure, 1. log off internet while you on school. Difficulty = Super easy. 2. Subscribe your own internet for your phone, difficulty = easy. 3. Change school, difficulty = moderate 4. Hack the network, difficulty = hard - impposible
