  1. I second the Modmic. I have 4.0. I have Sennheiser HD 598 SE headphones. The Modmic is amazing.

  4. Still running 2x MSI R9 290 on Alphacool blocks. I cannot wait for some new high end graphics competition.
  5. I'm running 2 MSI R9 290 on Alphacool blocks. I love them and have had them for a few years. I'd love to upgrade to a new AMD card especially with Direct X 12 performance being AMD focused. I cannot wait for more DX12 games to come out to show what power AMD gpus have. My firestrike scores with my 2 290s are outrageous even at 4k. Thanks AMD and LTT!
  6. LG has brought new life to the projector game. Before a short throw projector was super duper expensive. Definitely over the budget of a every day gamer. I'd love this to provide my living room with a huge 150 inch screen which would take my favorites Battlefield and Skyrim to a new level. Thank you Linus Tech Tips and LG for the chance to win. Awesome short video showing it off. I loved it! PCMR

  8. That list is nice, but i'd love some insight from people that have ultrawide monitors, or a freesync AMD user. I know there is a nice selection of monitors that i'd love. But i'm will to spend 1000 usd on a monitor that i've seen pictures of with horrible light bleed. That may have just been a flaw in one but to talk to someone that knows what I feel would be awesome.
  9. Hello all. I am currently shopping around. I'm looking to get a freesync monitor for my MSI R9 290 crossfire with an i5 4690k all watercooled. After making the jump from a normal 60hz 27inch 1080p asus monitor to a Benq 120hz 24 inch 1080p, there is no going back to 60hz. But with all this power, i'd really like to step up my resolution. I've made a video on my Firestrike ultra benchmark. The live benchmark showed a score relative to an i7 and Titan X or 980 ti build. Knowing I can stand up against a higher resolution is awesome. I know firestike is a synthetic benchmark, and my computer will not game like a Titan X or 980 ti. But I know a high resolution will be no problem. With freesync being a big part of my monitor choice, the number or possible monitors is slim. I'm not sure if I should just wait until the holiday season like cyber monday, or christmas time for newer monitors. Or even after December. All I know is i'm getting the itch to ascend my display soon. I am in the process of building a nice 'U' shaped desk with a ton of real estate. So size is no matter. Making the jump to 4k would be cool, and i'd love to test it. The Samsung UE590 is a perfect example with a 1ms response time, 3840 X 2160 4k resolution http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YD3DBOC?colid=APMGSR3KDUX7&coliid=I23GK8P8RVTZQQ&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl 1440p is most likely where I will land. In combo with more than 60hz and i'll be happy. This 27 inch WQHD 2560 X 1440 Acer 144hz would be sick http://www.amazon.com/Acer-XG270HU-omidpx-FREESYNC-Widescreen/dp/B00VRCLHYS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445918474&sr=8-1&keywords=Acer+XG270HU But after looking at a decent size list of freesync monitors, over 27 inch will probably be where I go. This 34 inch LG WFHD 2560 X 1080 75hz monitor. Awesome looking as well. http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-34UM67-34-Inch-LED-lit/dp/B00VBNQJSM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445919087&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+34UM67 And one last, and probably the one I want most is this 34 inch QHD 3440 X 1440 75hz curved Acer. The most expensive of the bunch, but definitely a consideration. http://www.amazon.com/Acer-XR341CK-bmijpphz-34-inch-UltraWide/dp/B0111MRT90/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1445919164&sr=1-1&keywords=Acer+XR341CK Even though if I went to one of these ultrawide monitors, i'd be downgrading my existing 120hz to a 75hz, I think the resolution along with freesync will make up. Also maybe 75hz will be a sweet spot, where the immersion will be perfect. If I did multiple monitors, they would need to be nice 1080p 120hz and id do 3. All monitors from this website. http://www.144hzmonitors.com/freesync/ Here are a few pics of my build. Please check out my Youtube. http://www.imgur.com/jIRyziY http://www.imgur.com/8M24ikb http://www.youtube.com/user/Everendlesss Please help me in my decision. I am so suck. Thanks!
  10. I have 2 MSI R9 290 on Alphacool waterblocks and an i5 4690k @ 4.2ghz. 280, 240 and 120mm rads. Check out my stress test video
  11. And now check out Direct X 12 with Nvidia cards. I can't wait to see the problems people will have with team green when AMD RISES AGAIN !! (Evil sounding) All I know is my cards are powerful. I will be getting a Samsung 4k monitor within a few weeks. Can't wait to see some 4k games. Awesome brother. Love my 290s
  12. All of this I knew before I even bought any gpus at all. With direct X 12 coming soon, I am confident my AMD cards will show true colors. I got these cards for cheap, and already had my cpu water cooled. If I wanted to buy a 980 ti, or titan x, the cost of the cards PLUS the waterblock will be insane compared to what I spent on these. There are not many games I have a single problem with. Mostly I play BF4, which has mantle. So my build is perfect for that. Obviously this is a synthetic benchmark. I know gaming is a different story. But mega stuttering is not the case at all haha. True green team I see hahahaa
  13. Hello all. I made a video showing my build beating the scores of a Titan X, and a 980 ti in a 4k Firestrike benchmark. This shows that even lower end cards can produce 4k content just as good as some $1000 plus cards. Can two R9 290 beat a Titan X or 980ti? They have helped me so much!
  14. What a good forum poster. Here to be negative and nothing else. You did read my post right? Or did you just post as soon as you thought I was wrong? This is my first watercooled system. I've watched plenty of videos, but this was the first time I put my skills to use. I posted here to show off my build, and also get some comments going for the future of my build.Just because you think I'm wrong doesn't mean anything. There are endless ways to put any computer together. So why comment and be negative? Go back to Reddit if you wanna be a troll and be very unhelpful.
