  1. Hi everyone, Today i spilled some coke over my laptop's keyboard. I know, never put drinks near a laptop, but i was just being dumb. The laptop itself still works fine, including all the keys and the backlight led's. But the right control key is so extremely sticky that i can barely push it in. And when i tried to remove it, they key started to break, so...yeah. I don't really use that key anyway so i don't really mind. What I have heard is that the sugar in a laptop will have some damaging effect in a laptop due to corrosion. Can it really damage a 2017/2018 laptop that easily, and if so, when should i start seeing the effect? I noticed that my keys have an extra plastic layer under it to protect the led's, so idk if that helps? The laptop is a Asus ROG Strix GL703VD. Thanks in advance,
  2. Yes, they are joined to an AD domain. I double checked that. Not sure how to add DNS records though...
  3. Hi everyone, I am currently configuring some virtual machines as an assignment. I am almost done, the last thing that remains is configuring the Exchange Server for the clients. I have installed Exchange 2013, all the users have been added mailing through the web app works without a hassle. But I don't want them to use the web app, I want them to use the Outlook app in Windows 10. When I select that I want to add an exchange account however, it fails to find the account or ''account settings'' it then wants me to specify the domain, but it still fails. How can I configure my Exchange Server in such a way that I can use the Windows 10 app for e-mail? Thanks in advance! Sorry for grammar errors, but my language settings is currently in Dutch XD
  4. Hi everyone, So I have a packet tracer here which has to be made without an addressing table. I wonder if some of you know the answer to some of the questions. Every router stands for a location. - Configure OSPF and make a connection between the locations and the server. - The connections between the routers need to be build with static routing - At every location you need to build a switched network with at least 3 switches at every location and a couple pc's. Configure them as completely as possible. Think about VLAN's, Trunking and port security. - At every location a Inter Vlan (routing-on-a-stick) needs to be placed - On one location you need to place a management pc that can configure the routers and switches through ssh. - All routers need to make use of DHCP so that the pc's of every location can get an address. - On one location a named ACL needs to be made so that Ping traffic travelling to the other location will be blocked while ping traffic to the server will be possible. - On all routers the needed banners and passwords are configured. If some people know the answer to one of these or more, I would really appreciate it if I can get the commando's and know how to do it. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi everyone, So today I got my new laptop. It's an Asus ROG Strix GL703VD. When starting it, I noticed a lot of bloatware and Windows was not working correctly. Missing icons, programs not willing to start, etc. So I decided to reinstall windows. I have Windows now totally up and running. But now the Fn keys no longer work. I know that I have to install the ATK package from their website, so i tried, but it fails to install. I constantly get the error message that it could not create a key to a specific path (see image below) Does anyone here know how to fix this? Because now I can't control turn off my keyboard lighting, since Aura also refuses to launch. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi everyone, I have a quick question. My friend wants to have the Masterbox lite 5 rgb. The 3 fans up front have a led header that in the manual it says needs to be plugged into the motherboard led header. The trouble is, the motherboard he wants to buy does have a led header, but no support for Aura or mystic lighting. The mptherboard is the Gigabyte Z370P D3 - 1.0. This motherboard does have rgb fusion software, so I was wondering if he can change the color of the fans through that software program or can you also just use a external rgb controller? Thanks in advance.
  7. Well...This motherboard has 2 jumpers which you can use to overclock the FSB. I moved one jumper to overclock it from 200 Mhz to 266 Mhz. And after that it booted up fine. I moved the jumper back, and now it is booting up and posting without issues every time I try it. All hardware is showing up correctly. The Q6600 is at 32 degress, so overheaiting was not the issue. All RAM showed up and all drives are detected. I had a boot drive laying around with Windows 8.1 64-bit, but that one didn't want to be recognized. But I think that is because I made the wrong partition in Rufus when creating it. Tommorow I will check if it is still working and if it does I will create a bootable drive with Windows 10 on it. So for now, it is working.
  8. Yep, I forgot to mention that I have indeed tried different ram configurations and this motherboard has a clear cmos button. Still doesn't work. Just tried again after it had been off power for about 30 minutes and I recieved a post screen again, restarting it gave 4 red lights again. Fans start spinning to full speed like every attempt.
  9. Hi everyone, I am building an older system with second hand parts, right now I have a build that uses a: - core 2 quad Q600 - MSI P35 Neo2 - 4GB DDR2 - Nvidia Geforce 8400GS - FSP 600W psu This motherboard has multiple led lights that let's you know what the motherboard is doing. I got the following after multiple attempts: First attempt: 4 green, meaning it as all good. I got a post screen, but I had to shut it down because I had no hard drive connected yet. But when I restarted it, the problems started. Second attempt: red, green, green, red. In the manual (as attached in this post) it meant that this means 'Processor Initialization. But it got stuck here and didn't go further. Third attempt: Green, red, green, red. This means it was testing the VGA BIOS. But also here, it got stuck. It then automatically shutted himself down after 5 seconds and when it restarted by itself it had 4 red lights again. After this I tried a different cpu, but the same problem occured. fourth attempt: red, green, red, red. This means it is doing a memory detection test. But it also got stuck here. I tried another cpu, another power supply (a Be Quiet! Pure Power 9 600W), different graphics card (GTX 275) and tried again. This time I got the post screen again, but I was too late to hit the delete key for the BIOS, so I had to shut it down again, restarting it agai gave 4 red lights. I am testing it outside of the case to make sure it doesn't short out in the case. I also tried 2 different coolers to make sure the cpu wasn't overheating, but still...no success. I have no idea anymore what the problem could be. It is basically spitting out different boot errors with every new attempt. But I know the motherboard is not dead because I got a post screen 2 times. Also the cooler, power supply, cables, graphics card and cpu are not the issue. Does somebody here have any other idea what it could be? I have build another pc with the exact same motherboard, and that one is still working perfectly fine.
  10. Sorry for the late reply. I had fallen asleep since it was in the middle of the night. I have flashed my device and used firmware from Sammobile to install the stock android 6.0.1 on it. That worked. I could finally enter my phone. But the problems are not gone yet. The phone is still slow, keeps freezing, barely wants to wake up from sleep mode and it keeps restarting. Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot loop where it gets as far as the samsung logo, only to restart again like 3 times untill it finally gets into the login screen. But even then, it is still very very very slow. I have no idea what is going on. And when it started up it even bypassed the login screen for my sim-card. So I could just use the mobile data (LTE+) without even entering the pin. Even the drawing of my pattern freezes for a couple of seconds.
  11. I have the options: - Reboot system now - Reboot to bootloader - Apply update from ADB - Apply update from SD card - Wipe data/factory reset - Wipe cache partition - Mount /system - View recovery logs - Shutdown Already done the factory reset, does nothing. I don't know if ADB is enabled. The option is empty though, and the others options also do nothing. Reboot to bootloader will only shut the phone down.
  12. I take that back. After I press the power button and volume up it says: Successfully applied multi-CSC. After I waited a bit longer I managed to get into the android recovery. What now?
  13. I am not even able anymore to get into the recovery mode. I only get the image of a dead droid with the text saying 'no command' and it gets stuck there
  14. Yes, sorry. I'm just kinda panicking because I really need my phone. I did manage for some reason to get into a mode where it has the android thing and it is saying 'downloading, do not turn off target' I didn't manage to get that before today. Is that the mode you are reffering to?
