  1. Hi I am currently running an I7 6800K on a Asus X99 Sabertooth motherboard. A few months ago i had the issue, KB4100347 was locking my cpu overlocking. Basicly , overclocking done in bios, cpu running at stock speed on windows... Uninstalling that security update was solving the issue. I updated windows today and now the cpu is locked again. The issue is KB4100347 isn't installed. But KB4489899 and KB4470788 are. I tried to uninstall KB4489899, issue still present. I also tried to uninstall KB4470788 but it's impossible... I tried updating my bios to 3902 version.. So i am basicly stuck with my cpu running on stock non turbo settings 3.6Ghz instead of 4.2Ghz. Any idea on how to solve this issue ? ... i don't want to change cpu because morrons from microsoft are forcing update i don't want down my throat
  2. They do not deliver in France... *sad*
  3. Unless you totally destroyed the packaging and throwed away the content of the box. You can just go to the store and return your 1070 to get the 1070Ti. It's easy to get to a store and say, i don't want this i want the more expensive one.
  4. 349 with Gsync ? Go for it then.because i have never saw a Gsync panel that cheap. The cheaper i was was around 400 and was 1080p. 1440p are usually around 600 - 700.
  5. A good 27",1440p, 144Hz Gsync monitor is already expensive.
  6. You should just wait for a 4K 144Hz panel to come out. Linus said during a wanshow AU Optronics is going to mass product some. They will be aviable around summer 2018, with the usual late count end of 2018. This way you won't lose your resolution.
  7. Apparently it's quite the opposite it won't be a P2W at all. "Ne vous inquiétez pas. Quand vous pensez à Cyberpunk 2077, n'envisagez rien d'autres que The Witcher 3 : un gigantesque RPG narratif, solo et dans un monde ouvert. Pas d'éléments cachés, vous obtenez ce pour quoi vous avez payé -- pas de connerie, juste une approche ludique honnête comme Wild Hunt. Nous laissons l'avarice aux autres." I translate : Don't worry, when you think about Cyberpunk 2077, donc think about anything else than The Witcher 3 , a gigantic narrative rpg in single player with an open world. No hidden part, you get what you paid for, no bullshit just an honnest and ludic approach like wild hunt, we let the miserliness to others. source ( french) : http://www.jeuxonline.info/actualite/53612/dimension-online-cyberpunk-2077-sans-avarice Basicly it's almost a direct taunt in EA Games face.
  8. Got stocks on the French major electricity provider company. I am happy when people need power.Don't need to save it.
  9. You are not forced to but Lurick's advice is the clean way to do it. The other one still works but is not as clean and takes more time.
  10. Even if windows is installed on another HDD you can still use it as you want. Just certain folders won't be available but you can read and write on it. I do that all the time with my hotswap bays. So you can basicly install windows on the SSD. And format the drive later down the road. Just be sure you uninstall programms first. Because the new windows install won't be able to see them.
  11. Maybe the rad is not correctly screwed. Even one or two mm can make a huge difference.
  12. I got Two 960s ( Strix and FTW) a 980Ti SC+ and a 1080 FTW. You are saying crap... the 960 is a surprisingly good card when overclocked. But it's not on par with a 980Ti wich does almost the double of FPS. And it gets totally destroyed by the 1080, even when the 1080 runs at 50% max target power,.. And i am talking 1080p where it can survive with such a low ammount of Vram...
  13. You should stick to high end chipset. I was running an I7 920 on a Rampage II extreme, so X58 too.. And then i went for for an I5 4690K on a Z97 sabertooth. It was a great system, with very good performance but so limited... In less than a year i occupied all the Sata ports and pci-e lanes... I was basicly using it at it's full potential already... So i went back on high end X99 then.
