  1. What kind of connection do you have? ADSL, VDSL, Fibre?
  2. It appears your subscription has expired. as you don't have the tag below your name. Did you buy a yearly or monthly Subscription?
  3. VPN's may work but lots of schools monitor VPN's and ban your device(s) from the network for the year or for the rest of the time you are at that school.
  4. That would be cool but with restrictions it could have is it has to be active account like it has to be used at least a few times a month for its life from the start date of the program, with the account owning a decent amount of purchased games that exceed like $20 - 30 in total value which would deter people who unfairly mod games
  5. Im gonna recommend a business class laptops 1) Hp EliteBook 840 The reason I reccoment the HP EliteBook is that at my school (I am part of the student IT Commit / IT Support ) we have had lots of laptops come in for servicing from staff as they keep breaking them but the HP laptops have only come in when staff get virus etc. we have had one come back with physical damage and that is because a staff member dropped it from a decently high place I know they don't have amazing price to performance but they are quite durable compared to others 2) Dell Latitude E series Premium Business Notebook I would recommend this as they are strong and durable as I am in charge of some laptops at the school including some dell E5520 which are student laptops and I have only had to fix user issues on these things (with one exception of a cable on the inside of one of them being loose) these seem to have better price to performance than the HP laptops but basically my recommendation for a laptop being used at school would be either a really cheep easy to replace laptop (like chromebook or budget windows laptops) as they are cheep to replace if damaged or a business class (or sturdy) laptop as they will be strong PS I really hate how much they have increased import in nz taxes recently
  6. A media center PC for the whole family (Mainly my mother and father) as the current computer that is being used as a media center PC is a noisy old laptop that is dying (Not going to get them any android based system (or alternative) as it would be easier for them just to keep the same windows line of OS' as they have been using in the past or I will get a billion questions like "how do I do this?" ) http://www.amazon.com/Acer-AXC-603-UB17-Aspire-Desktop/dp/B00M12YUJC/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449131597&sr=1-2&refinements=p_n_availability%3A1248800011%2Cp_74%3A00000-49999%2Cp_n_feature_five_browse-bin%3A7817222011%2Cp_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A8080210011
