well if you want small... you should get a mATX or mITX mobo so it can fit into small cases

the Fractal Design Node 804 is what i want to build my NAS in. Its a really good looking case and holds 8 HDD but, again you need a mATX mobo...

    So

The threaded side goes into your pump/block/rad/reservoir and then the other end is also threaded but it has a barb which you insert into your tube. You then place the clamp over your tube and onto the thread which creates a seal by squeezing your tube between it and the barb. http://img.gawkerassets.com/post/17/2012/09/d_4679.jpg . That image may help.

a compression fitting is basically a barb fitting that comes with a screw-in clamp. you put the metal "shroud" of sorts onto the tubing, then put the tubing onto the fitting itself, then screw the shroud in.

JebKerman got a reaction from matheislmarek in First custom water cooling loop?
    the AIO is FAR easier.

a watercooling kit from say, EK would have all the parts you'd need for a CPU loop, just throw in a GPU block and probably another radiator and you should be good to go.

as a sort of in-between there are EK and Swiftech's "expandable AIOS" which are perfect for what you describe if you want something relatively simple for the moment to cool your CPU, but can add the GPU and another rad to later.

JebKerman got a reaction from Sauron in Which GFX card as bridgeover to Pascal?
I don't get it. why would you get a new card now when you plan on getting the next generation card which is set to be sold later this year? surely you should save as much as you can for when it does? do you see your current GPU as inadequate? (speaking of, it's the only spec you haven't listed in your profile) if so go for something cheap that gets the job done for now, something like a 950 for example
