  1. that could be interesting to try at least, however, they'd be moving different amounts of air, so I'm not sure it would work well
  2. well then... I can't really think of anything else that could be wrong. I'd suggest you either keep fiddling (maybe give the monitor settings a go, i doubt it will help, but it might), or try the rest of the internet.
  3. did you install the GPU drivers on a disk, or download them?
  4. have you tried other resolutions? do you have your monitors model number?
  5. ok then, have you selected the right resolution for your monitor?
  6. have you installed the GPU drivers
  7. looks like he also overdid the OC of his camera, he's getting stability issues.
  8. my name. (I already have it, just though i'd pitch in)
  9. I don't have the G910, but i do have the G310 (non-RGB TKL version of the G910). While i don't get to see all of the features available to the G910 the software is very sleek and easy to use Don't know about the failure rate of the LEDs haven't owned it long enough (a bit over a month). Surprisingly fine, felt a bit strange as first but i got used to it quickly (going from a low profile membrane keyboard though). Logitech now actually sells a cylindrical keycap set as well (http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/romer-g-keycap-kit)
  10. that motherboard will actually happily OC it for you (with a downloadable ASUS utility, AI Suite 3), it's not 100% perfect and apparently sometimes overvolts, but it will give you a very good starting point to manually dial it in. you do not need to OC the memory, especially not at that frequency.
  11. well, meh, your hardware, your choice, just know you aren't frankly going to get a lot, if anything out of it aside from a new driver interface (and the lack nVidia gameworks perks/quirks). and actually, if you can bear it, waiting for Pascal and/or Arctic Islands probably isn't a bad idea.
  12. it still doesn't really make practical sense as they still trade blows.
  13. if you want it new, probably the R7 250 would be better (i think they're around the same price after a really quick search).
  14. I'd build it. it's an experience in itself. and you learn a lot more by doing it than not.
  15. i'd say slightly higher CPU temps is better than digging a deeper hole in your wallet with the cost of the extra pump, res, fittings and tubing
  16. not what he's after. he's more after the Corsair 900D or Coolermaster HAF Stacker series. a separate box underneath the main case for the sole purpose of holding watercooling components. and just adding to those, most Thermaltake cases can be stacked on top of itself, and are generally quite cheap. at the opposite end of the spectrum there is Caselabs, most of their cases have a basement that can be purchased separately.
  17. OCs are primarily down to a better chip, not cooling solution. that said a custom loop will potentially allow for a higher heat dissipation capacity, however most chips with even a decent cooling solution will either hit a voltage or clockspeed limit or be practically ribbing up against it.
  18. well you have to cut it with ctrl-x, ctrl-v instead. make it a habit and it will be a hell of a lot easier than setting up a raid array which requires both drives to be wiped anyway
  19. neither really. for me it's Music more than anything else. doesn't matter what's on screen.
  20. what he said is still correct, for a dedicated server all you really need is a PC.
  21. thanks, I can see why you went for a 120mm AIO now. well pretty much any should work, Other corsair coolers and frankly the H80i, or the NZXT Kraken X31 should do fine. regarding motherboards, again, pretty much any Z97 will do, I'd just not recommend going for something overly expensive.
  22. er, sound like you just keep the drives separate, install the OS and programs on the C drive (the SSD in this instance), and data on the D or E drive (the HHD). you can also redirect the "user" folders.
  23. ok, then, what are the rest of your current specs, and probable upgrade specs. the normal H80i will fit (with 1 fan), but tubing routing will be an arse.
