  1. I would recommend looking into shopping at Microcenter for your motherboard and CPU, they give you $30 off when you buy a CPU and motherboard. Also they have open-box motherboards you can buy for much less than full price. One near me has a Z170 Asus board, normally $250, on sale for $125.
  2. Hello , I'm looking for a good laptop for coding in robotics and taking notes in class. I've been looking at laptops like the Lenovo Yogabook. Any other good suggestions? Also, I will need a long battery life as well.
  3. Did you make sure the power supply was plugged in and switched on? I've made both of those mistakes with the same computer...
  4. If you're overclocking, I would recommend getting a better cooler than the stock one. The Cooler Master 212 Evo is cheap, but tried and true in most if not all use cases. You're better off with the 1600 if you're overclocking. If you overclock, XFR is diabled, so your $50 for the X goes to the trash can. From a quick googling session it looks like the only benefit from X370 instead of the B350 chipset is SLI and more USB ports. So overclocking looks like it isn't affected. For aesthetics I would stick with black and blue, since you've already got blue led fans and a black case. Good luck!
  5. THANK YOU! Someone finally understands. For the most part..
  6. Why is this in Phones/Tablets instead of GPUs?
  7. Sprint and Verizon are CDMA, everyone else I know of uses GSM. T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, etc.
  8. Both use a sim card. Verizon and Sprint use CDMA and my friends all have sim cards in their phones.
  9. Linus probably will review it. As with every flagship from LG, Samsung, Apple, HTC, etc.
  10. Just go to google and type "Flip a Coin" Heads for 6500, tails for 7500.
  11. I didn't have a smartphone until 9th grade.... even now in 10th grade, I don't have a good phone. I say everyone gets a "dumb phone" until they can get a job to get the phone they want and worked hard for.
  12. I would suggest a silent fan. But any would do, as long as it would fit.
  13. Save yourself the frustration. Get a 6500. OR return the motherboard, buy a Z270, and get the 7500.. flip a coin or something.
  14. A) Sparks or electrocution B) Electrocuted. C) More sparks or electrocution TL;DR Don't touch anything when the pc is on or about to be on.
