  1. im hoping someone on here will own one or know someone that owns one and will help me fix this. thanks for your help
  2. yea, i can turn in on and it stays on (99% of the time anyway) but it i shut the lid or it goes to sleep i have to force shut it down. thanks for the flashing link, that was my next hurdle to jump, all i need now is the bios file which razer essentially want $920 for
  3. i bought a second hand razer blade pro 2012 just before christmas to use as my new school laptop which was going great until recently. i booted up my laptop to do some work and i had numerous "display driver has failed to initialize" messages and this was after installing a new nvidia driver, the laptop did that whenever i tried to do anything and would then crash with a white screen and a *tick* noise. since getting it to work i found very quickly the CPU fan was no longer spinning. after some DIY testing i found the fan does work but the PWM signal wasnt allowing the fan to work, as well as my laptop having a few issues when shutting down/restarting, it would rather do the white screen with the *tick* or just sit in a bugged sleep mode. through my testing i have come to the conclusion that the bios has gone bad but not 100% sure on what it could be. razer want over $1300 for repairs on a laptop i spend $1000 on and dont have money for a new laptop or repairs so im asking the LTT community if they have any ideas to what it could be or a copy of the bios i could use to reflash with. Thanks for any help! P.S it could possible make an interesting video linus...
  4. gibe nao plz... anyway, using a gigabyte k7 keyboard and a razer naga hex, happy with this but know a friend who could use with a new mouse
  5. hi, the correct way to do this is you have to take each cable out and rearrange them in this order, black, red, white, blue. that allows it to work and control it through PWM. to pull the cables out you need a small screwdriver. you find the metal clips that hold the cables into the plastic and push them in while pulling up and to put them back in bend the same pin up and push it in. goodluck!! P.S those fans are amazing but crazy loud!!
