@Dedayog, extremely good point. I don't download anything in 4K, I get everything in 1080p, and I have never heard a grumble from the wife or kids, so it must be ok 😉

Well at least now you have the info required to have a good chance of getting one 🙂 videos drop at 10AM PST or earlier, scrub through the video real quick to see if Linus is talking about GPUs and if he does listen to the instructions and off to the races, also be sure to check the WAN show (not the clips because those can be like 2 weeks late) to get the newest information about the program
BTW the next drop or one of them is from AMD with GPUs AND CPUs, and there might be one from EVGA

That's a good point. What's stopping an actual gamer, who already has a 3000 series GPU to participate. I know we will have to wait to see, but I hope they figure something decent out.

Oh you 100% need to screw them in. They're not friction fit. Plus modern 2.5" drives are massively thinner than the old 15K or 10K SAS drives that would have been installed originally.

I ordered the Bolts Plus screws earlier today, so hopefully they come in by Friday so I can get started on installing the Hypervisor this weekend.

Orion One, Horizon Computing, Saigontek, just to name a few.

Spaenaur might be a better store then bolts plus for an order in.

    How many do you need?

The ML240 RGB is upper mid range. It's not top tier by any means, but it would cool sufficiently even if you were overclocking.
I just love the idea of the 2x200mm fans on the front of that case with a sleek mesh in front. It's like somebody said, "Oh, so people want AIRFLOW NOW??? I'll give you airflow!"

    Short answer:
FCLGA is just a more full name of socket, means Flip-Chip LandGridArray. So all of Intel LGAs are FCLGAs.

TL;DR answer: It's the same yes.

Most of the extended pads I found were like 900mm x 420mm. The Corsair is like 340mm width. I will have to clean up my desk and take a pic for ya soon. I have the G710+ like @LinusTech and I still have lots of room. He showed a recent pic of his Qck+(?) one and it looked way too deep. Too bad I couldn't find the Qck, since I used to to have it and really liked it. But I am really love my soon-to-be discontinued Corsair 'Gaming (lol)' extended for sure.

What about a 180? Is the logo then upside down? You could probably get a micro-USB extension of some sort to have it stick out a little bit more.

You tell me whats the issue with it. On a non-touch device of course. You can right click it you know to get your more "common" actions. You can click it and type ANYTHING you want. ie. Control Panel, or straight to Windows Updates. Why simply typing in 'Calc' gets me the calculator, but the old start menu takes me like 15 clicks! brutal. Just brutal.

That's going to be irrelevant in 10 days. But anyways, people who don't like the metro GUI amuse me. It's actually pretty intuitive.

Anyways, OP, the fact you're basically getting Win 10 for 12 bucks is your best deal there. Enjoy.

Not even close. Windows Vista was very buggy, and had terrible driver support on release.

Windows 8 on the other hand, was extremely stable (One of the most stable releases MS has ever had, really), had excellent driver support (Helps when Windows 7 drivers were 99% compatible with Windows 8), but had a very unpopular, and non-intuitive UI. It was just so much different that people instinctively hated it, not to mention the default layout of the Start Screen was also terrible.

Once you customized and optimized the Start Screen with your applications, folders, etc, it became quite usable. Worth the change over a start button? Obviously not, since Windows 10 brings that back - but still, once properly setup, it was definitely not bad.

Sorry, had to. I don't think comparing the the 100 watt powered spacecraft that is using the gravitational pull of nearby plants and asteroids can be fairly compared to turning your PC off at night or not in use LOL.

Even if it was for gaming, you wouldn't "need" flashing lights...
Except the Define S, which doesn't have room for an optical drive. Other than that, they fit perfectly.
