The old music was a great theme (from a music composition standpoint). RIP.  The new one sounds very "Generic EDM cut short." It's very "busy" and sounds like the beginning to a song vs. an intro to a video.  Being a composer, the old theme music immediately impressed me when I started watching your videos.  I will miss it for sure, but everything changes.  

The converrsion between the green computer and headphones is rough.  There is a half second between those two that is nonsensical.
 
Also you can really notice how pixalated it is (especially the block at the start) when in in full-screen.

Really like everything except the slogan at the end.

Just amazing much better than the old one

The "cool ideas great videos" doesn't look as professional compared to the rest of the video IMO.

I have to be honest, not really a big fan of the slogan at the end, but it's very nice!

The music is amazing but the text at the end is meh, needs a better slogan at the end.

Honestly, if I could, I would shake your hand for getting this straithened out and not just keeping them. You are a good man. It's nice to see not all people in our society are evil and greedy.

Amazon put $50 on my account for my honesty when we thought it was theirs, but I have a feeling UPS and Apple won't say anything, but I'm okay with that. I feel good doing the right thing here. I could have kept them, no one would have ever known, but in the end, they weren't mine.

Holy hell! Someone is getting fired over this one! At least it showed up at your door and not someone on the less honest side of things. Something like that happened to me once, The company the package was meant for was so grateful they gave me an item off the pallet as a thank you. It was about $300,000 in gaming laptops. Made a sick birthday present for my buddy thats a little less fortunate on the pc side of things then myself

But the simple fact ramains that if everyone blocked the ads in my content Linus Tech Tips wouldn't exist. Period.
 
Those suggesting that I complain to Google... Do you think I can just call up Eric Schmidt and let him know I don't like the way they implement ads on YouTube? I laughed out loud.
 
YouTube isn't perfect but it's my best shot at running a viable business here so I can pay my employees and feed my family, so that's what I use. Those of you who opt to consume the content without supporting it, fine you're not "scummy". Come up with your own word for it

The G3 from LG is the first phone I've used with a 2560x1440 display. That's a lotta pixels! Not to mention the rest of the top-of-the-range specs!

The most interesting thing about this thread to me is the ratio of general complaints that we cover the wrong stuff to solid suggestions for products we should cover. 
 
I saw one for a relatively unheard of CPU cooler that's apparently a great value, so I sent out a review request, but that was about it...

Aside from me, I have five full time employees. We all work every workday, and I work at least a little bit every single day - that's 365 dedication, baby.
 
It took me over an hour on my 1000ms ping Internet while I was away on the island visiting family this weekend each night to release my videos.
 
People have NO idea what it takes to maintain a daily release schedule like we do...

I believe our accessibility at Linus Media Group sets us apart.

I'll concede that we have never experienced the same explosive growth that some others (notably Unbox Therapy and MKBHD) have, but our slow and steady approach with constantly evolving daily tech content has continued to be a winning formula over the years, and you can expect it to continue for many years to come... Whatever form it might come in...

It says a lot about who you are Linus when you only get a handful of complaints out of 73,000 members and you address them. I have known other forums who would just ignore it but you haven't . You are still trying to find your feet and trying to juggle around content to keep members, sponsors happy and trying to ensure your employees have a viable future . I tip my hat to you and good luck and keep going the way you are

One thing I really want people who long for the good 'ol days to consider is this: Have I really changed, or have you changed?
 
The timing of this post is particularly interesting since it comes RIGHT AFTER I uploaded not one, but two motherboard videos in just a few days... What is more "classic LTT" than a motherboard overview video? Yes, it's better shot, and I have a chance to gather my thoughts BEFORE the video rather than during it (scripting), but is it POSSIBLE that you just don't need to hear about every motherboard anymore since there just isn't really that much to say about them?
 
The reasons you see me branching out are not due to a focus on money, but because I believe in the longer term it will be better for the audience. #1 is that I try not to say or do the same thing twice if I can avoid it. If that means that I don't unbox all three capacities of the same power supply the way that I used to, then so be it. #2 is that I let my own personal interests and projects guide the direction of the content because if I'm not actually passionate about it, you guys will clue in for sure and then this is all just pointless.
 
I'm sorry to those folks that aren't as interested in headphones as I am, but the content will continue to be about the things I think are interesting, not just PC tech.
 
Also some of the complaints here seem to be pure bandwagoning... The folks that are saying that *I* have sold out to ASUS because *Logan* made however many ASUS videos with JJ... Are you for real? CES coverage aside, I've made 5 ASUS product videos this calendar year. FIVE. If anything you guys should be hounding me about not adequately covering them given what a MASSIVE player they are in the PC space...
 
And frankly many of the other criticisms are like that... Calling what we do a commercial compared to the older-style unboxings is laughable. GO WATCH THE OLD STUFF. I'M LITERALLY READING THE BOX ON CAMERA. I have no prior experience with the product. It is PURE commercial. Now go watch one of our recent reviews (bear in mind not everything we do is something I'd consider a review) like this one: 
 
Not a commercial. Contains many comparisons to other products. Ends with a recommendation against the product in the video.
 
As for us not going to Computex, quite frankly it's the viewer-base that spoke on this one. Last time I checked our Computex coverage last year got 1/2 as many views as our CES coverage, and cost our sponsors well over twice as much. You guys didn't care, so we aren't going this year.

edit: one more thing. Don't take the fact that I'm presenting my arguments here as a dismissal or to mean that I don't care about the viewpoints of my viewers. I truly do. If I didn't care, I would just be like every other YouTuber and ignore your message. I want our videos to make every one of our viewers happy. It's just not always possible

I actually think the channel is improving
 
I find the videos a lot more focused, better scripted edited and more informative. The information more accurate and relevant. LTT is a tech channel, not a PC channel, they cover all aspects of technology. Face it, the world and its dog are moving to smartphones, tablets, gadgets etc, I know we are PC Enthusiasts but they have to cover all of this stuff, I bet most people here use smart phones, speakers, gadgets etc, there are only so many motherboard and graphics card unboxings I can watch.
 
In fact, the reason I watch LTT is that it is so diverse. So many channels out there cover things more specifically, but I dont want to watch 3 videos a day of linus unboxing different versions of the same graphics card, it is A, useless, B uninformative and C completely boring
