  1. Okay update. I was fooling around when I was halfway plugging in the 24 pin, the CPU cooler and power supply fans spin up. They blink as the green light is blinking but when I plug in all the way they stop. Wtf
  2. I tested it with a different power supply. Same issue. How to troubleshoot a motherboard?
  3. How would I test without the power button?
  4. EDIT: It was a super simple mistake and I'm really stupid. I was trying to turn on the computer through the "I/O headers" even though it was not the I/O header. Took me three hours and lots of stress to figure that out. Intel motherboards even color code the I/O headers. The real one on the mobo was on the bottom right and the "fake" one was in the middle of the bottom. Don't be silly. I just transferred my PC components to my new custom wooden case and now nothing is turning on. The motherboard LED is on though. I don't know what else to provide. It was all working before but now it's not. I have a hunch that I damaged something in the process of transferring.
  5. Welp. It's a couple hours later and the hardware is mounted but the computer isn't turning on. The motherboard has its green light on but nothing is happening. I've tried everything online.
  6. I was thinking of using screws and just leave a nut in between the motherboard and the wood. Or maybe no standoffs at all.
  7. I do agree. A 1050TI would prove an up from the 1050 and only costs a little more. This would be way more comfy when it comes to any game you might play.
  8. The protective plastic wrap is still on. Not taking it off until I am finished drilling.
  9. I totally get that. I will build the computer today without the extra fans and see how things go over the course of multiple hours. I do have a couple of fans lying around that I could mount if needed. Thanks, man.
  10. This afternoon I will start to mount my hardware to my wooden PC case and I was just looking for some advice when it comes to the assembly process. I will be mounting the Plexiglas to the wooden pegs and mount all of the hardware. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys! 11. It's better than it being your new 1050ti.
  12. It's just pull it out. But to ease your worries, here's a video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao866I9XpTo
  13. You answered your own question. Pull the "KTS thing" out and put it back in.
  14. Thank you! I think I have decided.
  15. I am deciding between these two wireless keyboards and I can't make an easy decision. Please help me! If there are any other nice keyboards in this price range I would love suggestions too! Thanks! K360 - $24 - http://a.co/j4Zt1QV Elite v2 - $30 - http://a.co/cZkZ1uf
  16. nvm found this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-DH77EB-Desktop-Board-LGA1155-mATX-DDR3-New-Board-Only-/201502792706?hash=item2eea809c02:g:sl4AAOxyIPNTdmy-
  17. I was looking at that but when you go to the SuperBiiz page, you see "Discontinued" .
  18. I have the i5-3470. Since it's a prebuilt compact system, the motherboard has proprietary power ports for the main and the CPU.
  19. Could I use this motherboard link for gaming? Will there be any issues? I want to upgrade my motherboard from an HP OEM one so that it will fit a standard power supply.
  20. I get you, man. Thanks for looking out for a homie.
