  1. Hello guys, At the moment there's a shop building my game PC, because I don't have the skills to do it. There will be two Samsung 850 EVO MZ-75E250B/EU, 250 GB SSD's in it. Now the shop called me to ask me if I wanted the SSD's to work together or separated. I didn't really know what to say, so I asked them what they recommended. They recommended separated SSD's because if one would break, the other one would still work. What is the best in your opinion please? Thank you, From a noob.
  2. Hi. Thank you for your help. My dad suddenly said he only wanted the best so I send him this one "http://www.alternate.nl/MSI/GT80-2QE-TITAN-SLI-030NL-18-4-notebook/html/product/1181493?event=search". It's the best I should be able to get in Belgium. Greetings
  3. Hello, - Yes a quadro GPU would be nice. - Won't be used for gaming. - I don't think we have the skills to do a cooling modification. - Never overclocked anything before. If I won't lose the warranty with it, it's no problem. - Rather 17 inch screen or more. - I don't think so. - 500 gb ssd like in the Macbook Pro would be nice. I asked him today about his budget and he says it has no limits because it's for work. Sorry for the late answer and my bad English. Thank you
  4. Hello everyone, I'm here to help my dad find a perfect notebook for work. My dad is an Belgian architect who works most often with these (3D) programs: - SketchUp Pro - Vectorworks - AutoCAD - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop... - ... In the past he always had the most powerful Apple Macbook Pro. Now he is considering buying a Windows notebook. The only things that matter for him is that the notebook has a screen 15 inch or more and that he can work without any lagg or something on those programs I mentioned above. He also needs to render a lot. At home he will connect the notebook to a 27 inch monitor. PS: He doesn't mind a gaming logo on the notebook Price should not be more than 2600 euros. I have no idea what he should buy. Please help us. Thank you!
  5. Thanks a lot guys! Just have two more questions now: - If I will be video editing and coding in the future, will the 32 gb ram be useful? - Everyone says I should go for the corsair H100i cooling. But what will happen if I stay with the H80i? Will it crash my desktop?
  6. Hello everyone, I'm a 19 year old student from Belgium (Europe) who loves PC gaming. Now that I've finally collected enough money to build the PC of my dreams I would really appreciate some help. You should know that I'm a noob at this and it's the first time I'm trying to build my own PC. I have a budget of € 4000 for the desktop with monitor, keyboard, mouse and mousepad. I was thinking about to spend € 3000 on the desktop only. So it will be used to play games like Battlefield Hardline, Dying Light, Far Cry 4, Crysis 3, Assassins Creed Unity... I will play on just one monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (ASUS 27" Swift PG278Q). At the moment I do not own any gaming PC. This is my build: CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790K, 4,0 GHz (4,4 GHz Turbo Boost) MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO, socket 1150 RAM: Corsair 32 GB DDR3-1600 Quad-Kit GPU: 2 x ASUS STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14, 2 TB SSD: 2 x Samsung 850 EVO MZ-75E250B/EU, 250 GB PSU: Corsair RM1000, 1000 Watt Water Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H80i Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24F1ST OS: Windows 7 Case: Corsair Graphite 780T Monitor: ASUS 27" Swift PG278Q Mouse: Corsair Raptor M45 Mousepad: Corsair MM400 Compact Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 With this link you should be able to see all the products on the website where I will be buying it from: http://www.alternate.be/html/configurator/builder/loadSharedConfiguration.html?kind=pcBuilder&id=d992b2fd9c37566c3bb24168b8b116ba I hope to play those games at the 1440p resolution of the monitor on ultra settings with a playable FPS. Is there enough power, cooling etc? Will the build work? Thank you very much!
