  1. any update on this?? need a lightining / USB C version too
  2. its just a rough price I get that, I've seen people use the 1660's added to servers for Plex, which might work well. which isn't too bad on price, tbh I do have an old system, but its old 4790/1080 etc but rather just leave it gathering dust and grab something newer, the NUC12 has a 1240p in it and that runs great, just rather have it as an AIO system plex/nas.
  3. Was going to use a NUC12 with a separate NAS Synology or something, but then thought I could grab a Node 304, and just go ham with it all in one system?.. been looking around at ITX bundles on Amazon/eBay/CEX (not much on CEX) (if I can get something better for a good price 2nd hand I'm down for it) not too fussed about what specs the mobo etc is, if it has NVME on board, handy if not no problem. I'd much rather intel, but it seems AMD is the "best" for value in passmark rating. (I've assumed higher = better stream etc) https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_value_available.html#single-value I'm sure someone has built something in the past NAS/Plex server or both and could assist Thanks in advance
  4. recently brought a Brother HL-L2375DW, and its been solid, and its fairly small too not a huge beast, not had a printer for years after being fed up of crappy ink jet printers, I dont use a printer often, but when I want to use it, i want it to work, it cost me £129.54, bargain price imo. always though I needed a colour printer, but who actually prints anything that needs colour?? hope you decided on something.
  5. I submitted a report the other day Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 9310 closed lid around 60-70% opened up the next day to 2%.
  6. I like it.. but only for my dell xps 13 2 in 1... and only if it went into this type of UI when in "tablet mode" for my normal computing taskes... it just wouldn't be as nice.
  7. I'm stuck deciding which one to have... MSI MPG Z590 GAMING PLUS or ASUS TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI any one recommend one or the other?
  8. tried this being so wishful... and no.. :( I'm suprised no proper fix or information about this.. I've been searching online trying things for months now =-/ honestly losing my mind... I have disable wifi adaptor, then renable it.. sometimes it doesn't work and have to restart the pc,
  9. Wonder what people will get who brought it? o.0
  10. I hope so... brought with amazon, but they had security seals >.<
  11. yes they are, but they also don't state they work with nvme, even though its been added to the bios just hope this works or will be £300 down the drain lol
  12. Just asked novatec is the Samsung PM961 Polaris 512GB M.2 PCIe 3.0 (x4) NVMe High Performance SSD would work and they said no... but in my bios.. it has NVME section...
  13. Asked people from Novatech and they said it would, also ASUS forums, guy asks me to upgrade the drivers of the device >.< (https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?91143-Gene-Crucial-MX300-525GB-M-2&p=633975#post633975) if the pcie one will work, ill get it.. But I just bought a Samsung 500GB 850 EVO M.2 which is sata and isn't working... so guess I'll buy a pcie m.2 which are the NVME ones and cost x2 much >.< over £400 just to get a another drive -.-
  14. if you don't want 4k, you could spend 1500 and get a top end gaming build, just please stay away from AMD... doesn't matter if it's new or not... You'll probably regret it.. Now I'm not Intel fanboy. I personally love all tech, I've built Intel and AMD systems, and the AMD systems are always budget builds... you have the money, don't invest in budget tech.
