  1. Now I feel bad. Ordered it from a retailer pretty far away and probably won't be able to return it and get a 6600k because they've already stopped selling it.
  2. The description said it's an update so it will support kaby lake processors.
  3. So I just purchased a 7500 which is at the same price as a 6600k here in iceland. But now I'm thinking I should have gone with the 6600k as it's quite a bit faster. I have a b150 motherboard so I won't be able to overclock it. I went with the 7500 because it's newer and if I ever plan to sell it it will probably hold its value better.
  4. But then I think is the 6500 worth the 40$ difference to the 6400. (Again, live in Iceland market's different.)
  5. Any reasons as to why, over the 6600 and 7600 etc.
  6. So I've purchased a discounted B150 motherboard and I'm in a bit of a pickle deciding which processor to get. So I'll list the main things I do and maybe you guys can give me some pointers. I'm not a huge gamer to be honest, I mainly play Overwatch and occasionally Minecraft. I do photoshop work, and I do quite like toying with 3D modeling in there. I'm taking a new class at school where I'm doing light CAD work. But it'd be nice to have the option to do something like light video editing and stuff like that. So as I live in Iceland there's still quite a big price difference between kabylake and skylake around $60 USD between a 6600k and a 7600k.
  7. So my latest dilemma is whether to go with the 6600k or the 7600k here I iceland there's about a 50 dollar difference between them. Which to me doesn't sound like it's worth it. But again, I'm hear your opinion.
  8. Check if the ram is seated properly. That completely screwed me over on my last build.
  9. The board I got was at a 40% discount, and it's a mini itx board so I don't think non of this will truly matter for me. Thanks for the in depth response.
