Budget My budget is flexible if needed but I’d prefer to keep it around 2.5k mark. 2. Aim This build will be used for Gaming (VR included). 3. Monitors I’ll be using a double monitor setup 5. Peripherals I have everything here. 6. Why are you upgrading? My last build is starting to grow a bit old and its time to upgrade. I’m mostly making this build around the Case and Power Supply, I really like the look.
  3. My current computer has problems such as: The ram randomly going to 100% (may have to wipe hard drive and reinstall windows, i reinstalled some games and checked that all out and eventually got another couple sticks of ram but that didn't do anything.) The case fans click randomly and i checked and comfirmed that there are no wires in the way. I want to upgrade the graphics card so i don't have to use one hdmi and one dvi. Also another small thing is that the usb ports are half smashed (workable but annoying, this was just from stupididty from when i first built it.
  4. well i want a better graphics card and such and i was told this motherboard isn't very compatible and sucks.. this is my build tho https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mMtZ3F
  5. I made my first computer in 2014 and i think after a few years and it having more and more problems as time goes on, its soon time for a new one. Around next year i'm thinking of buying (and building) this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tBwc2R There are some things from my old rig that i wish to reuse like the CPU and Power Supply, and after backing up my files i'll wipe my hard drives and start fresh. The things i'm mostly looking for is compatibity and for the graphics card to be able to run newer games smoother and have 2 HDMI ports. I also have no idea what to look for in motherboards other than RAM spaces and useage. Thanks!
  6. wow this post is old.. but it ended up me and logitech played send to and back mouses like 3 times.. this one decided to work and i have two extra mice now. Not sure if i can't use them on this computer or what but they said they dont want it back.
  7. i actually got an idea.. i put my case fans on low and the clicking slowed with it so it seems to be the case fans... thank god it wasnt' the hard drive.. now to find the bugger and replace him!
  8. Everything was bought and built July 2014 and these are the parts https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nTTpf7
  9. what would be the difference if you are streaming or recording? i got a build kinda like that but downgraded a bit but hope to soon change that https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nTTpf7

  11. I`ve done this multiple times.. i done it the first time i`ve heard it, many times in between, and like just now cause when i turned it on it started doing it today. For the other one, i'll see if i can get the check done today. Just saying this computer is great but has been working on my nerves for so long. Thanks for the help
  12. it is.... i dont get it and about 9 hours from now we will be back to square one anytime im on all day or leave it on overnight to download a steam game or upload something we are back at square one also but once i turn it off for a little....
  13. heres the thing... i just slept for about 10 hours (best of my life) and heres my computer now.....
  14. For the last few months my computer has been making a ticking noise when on for a few hours or more.. a noise like this: I checked the fans and they seem to not have anything blocking or anything. I also went in the case and i couldn't pinpoint what it was thats making the sound. The thing even more confusing is that sometimes when i restart my computer it stops or gets quieter for a few hours. Any ideas or help?
