Good tech but hating the price. I'd opt out paying the early adapter premium.

It's not fanboy-ism if the product performs better if not twice as much as the competitor for half the price.

Lethal Seraph reacted to lee32uk in New Rig $3,700 Budget
I would go with a Ryzen build myself as you have the extra cpu cores so it will help with streaming. With a budget like this you should be able to get one of those awesome ultrawide 1440p monitors and a single GTX 1080 ti (So no SLI issues)

    Something along these lines:

The Gigabyte has White accents and you should be able to disable the LED's or have them White.

The gpu is a placeholder so it would want changing to an aftermarket card to suit the colour scheme.

A single GTX 1080 ti will pair up nice with a 3440 x 1440p Monitor. No SLI headaches.

Samsung 960 EVO for main boot drive/games and a Samsung 850 EVO and HDD for other stuff.

Ninite software. Convenient but has too much access to your pc. Just make sure all the stuff is hooked up correctly, monitor temps at low and full loads (HW monitor), CPU overclock use your bios, GPU overclock use MSI Afterburner. Bunch of benchmark softwares out there, some free; some for a fee- 3DMark, Unigine, etc.
