    It really depends if you can get it cheaper. If you couldn't then it's not worth it. I think a 5820k would be the bottom-line for a true workstation.

    I'd suggest a neckband Sennheiser PMX 686 or older model for gym/running use. I use one of those and those ain't bad if you get a deal off eBay.

    If you buy or build it from alienware. I had a decent deal back in 2011 when I bought an few-month old Aurora R1 system off eBay. Spec was decent and had 4yr warranty on it.

    I had portable seagate drives that pooped on me pre 2011, more than four 2tb hdds that I know came from a 2011 batch died on 2013, and even the seagate replacement died on late 2014 prior to my current build.

    Just buy an EVO 212 or for a little more money but big difference in performance, get the Cryorig H7 instead.

    Yeah if you're into FPS shooter gamed go for higher refresh and time response monitors like ones woth 144hz. I mention the ultrawide screen thinking for productivity and game immersion it delivers but as other states, it has 5ms time response and 60hz framerate.

    You can get an ultrawide 29" 2560x1080p 21:9 by LG for around $200. Unless ofc, you want higher refreshrates for FPS games.
