    I'd get the FTW+ if I had to. Unless you have the later batches of 970 ftw, you wouldn't have a problem with coil whine. I didn't have any problem with mine but lots of people complained and it got address with Ftw+ and later batches of ftw.If you get any coil whine on any card, just try folding with for a day or two, supposedly cure whatever makes the whine.

    You might have to run watercooling solution if you're going to SLI. Since the aftermarket fans takes so much space there wouldn't be any room for the top card to breathe, or unless you change your case orientation and be able to keep both GPUs as-is.

    I'd personally get a classified than a kingpin cause of its crazy price, and strix is probably on the 5th on my list of 980tis. As for the hybrid rad, it should only take a spot for a 120mm since it should come with a 120mm fan.

    Sitting on 16GB 2800 ddr4 as well. Didn't know Newegg dropped the pricing down to $120.

    True. I liked my G.skill as well. But dominator has better aesthetics, too bad they charge you a premium. I personally liked and wanted to pickup the dominator but I would then have to switch to a AIO and ditch the nhd15.

    If you have a x99 platform, a 980ti but didn't invest on high ram speed- then your build doesn't make sense. 2800 DDR4 16GB is only $150.

    I don't think the any brand of 980 is worth it and I've read lots of OC problems from 980KPE users in the net. Get the 980ti instead.

    Overpriced crap. If I were to get a mobile platform and expect to be working, I'd rather go with cloud-computing. As for a workstation, I wouldn't touch a laptop with 10-foot pole. Desktop or go home.

    There's also cheap educational robots you can get. Maybe teach some coding and simple functions to kids. I know I wished I had some experience back then.

    Ahhhh EVGA shenanigans. Why not sell the backplate separately and what's that? Even the game itself isn't coming with it? What a stinking pile of poop. I'm glad I returned my two ftws and never looked back, even though I really wanted a 980ti kingpin.

    Most casual gamers are women. And if you base the gender of the purchaser of consoles, it's probably mom's giving it to their kids. Most hardcore gamers go for a better port like pc.
