    Well, this video makes me want to share my opinion, so here it is. I used to watch almost every Linus Tech Tips video, but the "more flashy" thumbnails were such a turnoff that I maybe watch 6 videos a month at this point. The few videos I do watch I find cringe worthy whenever a team member acts like they are using the product or trying to act out an emotion. I'm disappointed that you are getting more views due to the clown show your thumbnails and videos have become, since I would love to see the old style return. I do not want to unsubscribe since I'm still interested in knowing what videos you produce. I used to be a forum contributor but found the constant WAN show delays so frustrating that I ended up canceling that and have now completely stopped watching it. I do understand the need to grow and wish you the best for the future, but am disappointed in general that this behavior gives you more views.

    I really prefer the AMP Omega, I think the AMP extreme looks a little silly. I really like the power efficiency of the new nVidia cards.

    I would have really preferred having this test done with AMD R9 290X cards, since we know for sure that they rely 100% on the PCI-e lanes for card interconnects.

    @alpenwasser Thank you! @IdeaStormer I guess that would be a possibility if I wanted to keep the case. It's REALLY flimsy, and it obviously doesn't facilitate the cooling I want, hence the zip-ties :-) I'm thinking about making something similar to Spotswood's "cases", I like the simplicity and durability.

    Hardware CASE: Crappy case I got for free PSU: Corsair CS450M MB: ASRock C2750D4I CPU: Intel Avaton C2750 HS: Stock passive heatsink (with a fan laying across the Ram) RAM: Crucial 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 ECC Unbuffered RAID CONTROLLER: onboard Intel&Marvell OS Drive: 16GB USB Flash Drive HDD: 6x 4TB WD RED WD40EFRX Software and Configuration: My Server is running FreeNAS. The main reason for my NAS is that I had various internal and external drives with all of my data strewn over all of them and it just frustrated me (besides not having any parity). So I decided to build myself something I can dump and organize everything on, something that has plenty of room for expansion, something with parity. I have all 6 drives in one giant ZFS Raid-Z2 array which leaves me about 16TB of usable space. Usage: I use the space mostly for Movies and TV Shows, but it obviously also houses my Audio Books, eBooks, Comics, Music, and anything else (ISO's, steam backups, personal photos, etc.) . I also have the Plex Media Server plugin installed, and am working on setting up rtorrent so it can function as my Torrent machine too. Backup: I have no backup yet. I don't have the upload to make daily updates to offsite backups, so I'm planning on making daily backups of my more manageable and important files (read everything except Movies and TV Shows) to an external HDD. Additional info: I love my ghetto build, but eventually I would like to build something to make it rack mountable. Photo's:

    There are several features I'm very interested in and they are, the very high resolution screen, OIS and laser auto focus, replaceable battery and Micro SD slot. The only downside, as mentioned in the video, is the speaker position but everything else seems great :-) Would love to get my hands on one Thank you Linus and LG for the opportunity to win one!

    It's hard to decide what I like most about the HTC One M8. The front facing speakers are very important, the build quality and ID are also important, and I'm very happy to see that HTC finally added a microSD card slot. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to win one of the best phones of 2014!!

    According to the list here http://www.vesa.org/vesa-standards/standards-summaries/ the cvt v1.2 standard is for purchase, so not free. But I'd pick supporting a VESA standard over an nVidia standard any day.

I originally got the Raptor because I wanted a fast boot drive years ago) 2x1.5TB WD Black (Storage drives, because they are high performing and have a 5 year warranty and I needed the space) 2TB Samsung external drive (because I needed the storage and it was cheap) Secondary Desktop: 320GB WD Scorpio Blue (OS drive Linux, Warranty replacement of a 250GB WD Scorpio Blue I had originally bought for my laptop, which died from overheatintg) 4x320GB Seagate somethingorother (Storage drives, I run these as one volume through LVM) 160 GB Maxtor IDE drive in external enclosure 160 GB Seagate FreeAgent external drive (I needed the external storage for a trip) Netbook: 64GB OCZ SSD (OS drive, It was cheap ($30 after MIR) I wanted to squeeze a little bit more performance out of my HP mini311 netbook) I also have a 300GB Maxtor drive with a broken SATA connector floating around somewhere, I don't remember where it is atm I also don't remember what I bought it for. I don't run any of my drives in RAID because I never had enough money on hand to buy double the storage needed. A perceptive person would notice that most of my older drives are Seagate, while most of my newer drives are Western Digital. The reason for this is that I was burned by Seagate and their "Warranty" and they still owe me a functioning maximum size drive, since that was the capacity they denied me years ago. So I'm adding this to discourage anyone from buying Seagate. Seagate sucks. Their Warranty is inferior to Western Digitals in almost every way. Long live WD!!!     Take what I have to say with a grain of salt since I don't really have any real experience with high end audio myself. With that out of the way, the OP was saying he didn't want to overpay and the pinned thread in the audio section said that the first thing that should be done to improve audio quality is to improve the source. What I'm worried about is that with him listening to Grooveshark, pandora and youtube (aren't these quite low quality sources?) he might not be able to take advantage of the great headphones that are being suggested. Another thing no one asked about is how much bass he prefers. What I found out in my own quest for headphones was that open headphones (like the AD700) don't have a lot of bass. In comparison the M50 I believe are closed, so they would have better bass. And lastly, I was curious why not more people suggest the AKG K 240 MKII (or the older AKG K240) since they also seem to be good headphones.
