I think you cannot accept any valid criticism directed to Steve at all.
I totally agree with Ian, I do not have issue with Steve critic to LMG but I do have issue on how the video was made.
 
It is not a gray area, it is a clear line in journalism that people hold true but it is not coded into laws. There a reason why Fox news label themselves as news entertainment network as they do a lot of opinions and insinuating without giving actual proof. It is highly unethical in journalism.
 
Even Paul Hardware take a dig to Steve ethic for not even contacting the other side on this on his video.

As I said, some people are only here for the drama. What is you goal other then telling them, that they are wrong? What would you want them to do or change? 
 
100 mio for a company is not tiny, but far from big. I have seen companies from 0 to being sold for 100 mio in less then a year.

You want to say that all of LMG is incompetent? 

If that would happen often, probably not too many companies would work with them anymore.

No it doesn’t. LMG can’t publicly address any of this without involving a lawyer and a lawsuit.
Linus in that matter is not a private person, but part of a company and there are laws that would prohibit that.

Average GN videos make 200-300k view
The video after the drama is at 1.9 Million i.e. almost 10x as much.

And nobody forced Billet to got to the big bad corporate YouTube company.
They could have gone with perfect „small“ creator like GN, but they didn’t.
And we all know why. This was always a business transaction.
