  1. I saw your thread a couple days ago:

RTX 2080TI Founders Edition Unknown Hardware

Since I was obviously having the same issue, I replied and was able to get Device Manager all cleaned up. I wanted to send you this message in case you haven't seen my reply because I detailed the steps I took to rectify the unknown PCI device issue.

I sincerely hope that I was either able to help or that you found a solution elsewhere.

  2. Found this thread by searching PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AD7&SUBSYS_12A410DE&REV_A1 on Google. I was surprised and disappointed that DDU did not work for the OP and almost didn't give it a try. Obviously, I was seeing the same thing on my Device Manager, of which, I'm super anal about being clean and everything recognized. Since I wasn't satisfied with the fact that DDU did not work for you, I decided to try myself. I might be wrong as I speed read this thread, but did you run DDU in Safe Mode? I decided to not only run DDU in Safe Mode but also when installing the newest Nvidia drivers for my 2080ti's, I left all the stupid "3D" options checked as well as allowing GeForce Experience to be installed as well. I did also choose the option to perform a clean installation, which isn't exactly relevant after using DDU, but I really didn't want to take any chances. Device Manager is now PERFECT and my setup works great. I'll list the exact steps I used just in case you'd like to try: 1. Used the stupid Windows 10 "tool" for booting into Safe Mode 2. Selected option 4 for Safe Mode in Windows 10 after the Restart 3. In Safe Mode, Ran DDU selecting "Clean and Restart" 4. DDU Cleaned and Restarted 5. Installed 416.81 with ALL options checked including "Perform a Clean Install" 6. Device Manager perfect, System running great, did not even require a restart. 7. Also restarted several times to check that Device Manger stayed clean. Hope this helps!
  3. I have read that and I’m ok with that. I’m kinda the type that over builds and has more dollars then sense ?
  4. Only 16 PCI-E lanes. That’s going to screw my bandwidth on my dual 2080ti’s right?
  5. Great list! Is that 7900x the one where people are getting close to 4.8x5.0GHz?
  6. When is that going to be available? I’m currently waiting on the 2080ti’s which I probably won’t see until late September (already POed).
  7. What future upgrades? I want this thing to be a beast like my dual 980ti setup was back in 2014.
  8. There aren’t any good 2066 CPU’s for gaming? I’m not looking to go XE, I know faster clock speeds are better than core count but I thought I read about a 2066 i9 that could hit almost 5GHz on water. Am I wrong?
  9. I’m looking for a list of parts for a new PC build that should clock in at around $5000USD. Waiting on the 2080ti to replace my dual 980ti’s but I’d like to build an entire new INTEL gaming PC minus the parts listed below. NOT NEEDED: GPU’s-2080ti’s Case-Corsair 780T PSU-EVGA 1600 Storage-Mix of SSD’s, HDD’s & M.2 970 PRO So I’m looking for parts suggestions that will come in at around $5000. Definitely looking at socket 2066 and no custom water cooling, a simple out of the box 280mm and/or 360mm radiator with cpu block will be fine with me. Thanks in advance for any help.
