    Hello all you beautiful people, OK so I have an Xbox 360 Scuf controller that I need help fixing, the USB cable has broken. I have a replacement cable but i am in need of some advice when it comes to a soldering kit. On ifixit's website there is a guide that helps you repair a 360 controller (Thats here). To fix the controller I need to buy a soldering iron. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to browse through this list of soldering irons at my local hardware store (Thats here) and tell me which one is going to match the one that ifixit include in on their website. This will be the first piece of electronic equipment that I have soldered and I don't want to make a mess of it. (I live in Western Australia and I am unable to purchase directly from Ifixits website (also that seems expensive)) Many Thanks for the help, in advanced Overlos.

    So my cpu (amd fx 8350) has recently died and i am looking to bat for the other team this time(amd -> intel) and im going to buy an i7 6700k. When i buy this CPU i need to buy a new motherboard, i have 16gb of perfectly fine ddr3 ram. I dont really want to spend the extra $200 AUD on buying ddr4 ram if i dont need to. My question is, am i better getting a mobo that uses ddr3 with my 6700k then buy a new ddr4 mobo and set of ram when my current ram dies or Should i bite the bullet and buy a ddr4 mobo and 16 gb of ddr4 ram? Any help will be great

    yes, i am currently up to step 3 and just unpluging my pcie network card, to boot of the thumb drive

    Can you tell me how to do this when i currently have windows 10 on my machine, do i have to put windows 7 on it then do the windows 10 upgrade. or can i work straight from windows 10 (that i have now) (to my new copy on my thumb drive)

    So i have to reimage my windows 10 and i am going to use my windows 7 disk, but i need help with information on how to save programs. I have an ssd as my os drive with a few programs on it such as, steam, GPU driver... I have a really slow internet speed, how can i save these program files and save me having to re install all of them again? Many thanks Overloss123

    Was there not an issue with EVGA and the cooler not being aligned propperly i just dont want a screwed yp gpu. What about the Asus GTX 980Ti????

    So i am looking to upgrades few things I am looking to build my pc into what is on this list ( http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/28fkZL ) I currently have - XFX 7970 GPU - Corsair h80 CPU Cooler - NZXT Phantom 410 case (orange and black) I am looking to change to - Gigabyte GTX 980Ti G1 - Corsair H110i GT - NZXT H440 (Orange and black) Please tell me if the cpu cooler is worth changing too if not tell me which one is worth changing too ( im looking for a double fan one) Would i be all ok changing to these parts??? I was also looking at getting the reference eVGA GTX 980Ti but i though it would be too hot in my case as i live in Australia and it gets pretty damn hot here in the summer like 35c<.
