A Florida company has made Headphones that they claim make it feel like you are on weed. Pre orders start March 15th. Linus should totally review! http://experiencenervana.com

Earin displayed their truly wireless earbids a while back, and their Kick starter orders look to be shipping in April of this year. The earin ear buds are 2 little wireless (n wires at all) buds with balanced armature drivers, and they come in this awesome charging carrying case thingy. Maybe we can get a LTT review of the sound quality, because $200 is a lot for an impulse. http://www.earin.com/

Phase Change with TITAN X!!!! Push it to the limit! Maybe if that GM200 core has extra boundaries to push, a K|ngp|n variety would be AWESOME

I have one, and yes it's not the best, but for its price its pretty good. For your setup though, 750 watts is cutting it close..

Would the either of the itx-sized cards fit this waterblock from EK? http://www.ekwb.com/news/546/19/EK-introduces-short-type-GeForce-GTX-970-water-block/ Or, are there any shorter reference gtx 970s than EVGA's (241.3mm) http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-1970-KR EDIT: I think I am going to use the EVGA card, because the 240mm includes a large amount of overhang from the cooler, it appears ti use the short PCB design that EK makes the waterblock for

P.S There is tl;dr at the end if you are too lazy Hey guys, thanks for all of your help! I would like to add some more info to perhaps help clear some of the smoke. I will be putting the card in a bitfenix prodigy m on an mATX board. If any of you know anything about that case, the power supply affects your gpu length, especially with modular or semi-modular psu's, I have a semi-modular one from EVGA (NEX 750B), which is about 165mm. I am hoping to eventually have 2 970s in SLI with waterblocks and SLI fittings. I think usually a waterblock is shorter than the original cooler, so either an itx sized 970, like the ones Johannes_Lazor linked above: http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5252#ov http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX970DCMOC4GD5/ Or the shortest reference or non-reference card with a waterblock installed on it, this link from Overclock3d.com has information on the approxiamte size constraints with a semi-modualr 160mm PSU, however mine looks to be 165mm from Newegg's length spec http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/bitfenix_prodigy_m_review/6 Basically, I wanted to go with "ITX" sized cards to be sure i didn't have any issues with the PSU getting in the way, and I plan to watercool them in the near future, so it is moot if there are no waterblocks on the market for those cards TL;DR: I am looking for itx or the smallest full size gtx 970s that have compatible waterblocks on the market to fit in SLI in a bitfenix prodigy m Thanks again for all of your help guys! You're an awesome community to be a part of!

Are there any waterblocks out there for itx sized gtx 970 cards? Either the ASUS of the Gigabyte ones Or which full-size card is the shortest with a water block (EK, Alphacool,...) Thanks for any help! EDIT: I posted more information about my overall build in a response below

I appreciate the speedy advice guys, I like the Thermal take Core X2, but then I saw its bigger than my current case the Fractal Design Define R4, when is the enthoo mini xl supposed to come out?

What mATX case(s) do you recommend for building a custom watercooling loop in? Ironically, I was looking at the Corsair Air 240 of all cases A few things, I want as small as possible that can fit my components and at least a 2x120mm rad, and it should be pretty light too, I move it from time to time. I will be cooling a i7-4790k and ASUS Strix GTX 970 with a Swiftech Apogee XL and EKWB Full-Cover Block respectively I also have a full ATX size power supply (no sfx cases) it's a EVGA NEX-750B1 Semi-modular Thank you so much for any help/advice!

Budget Workstation PC Build (need assistance)
tf5000 replied to ElliePC's topic in New Builds and Planning
Also, you can save some by going with a psu that's only 80 plus bronze from a reputable manufacturer, EVGA's NEX 750-B1 is 750W and semi modular, I have one and it works great, and was only like $50 And, the Sabertooth is a bit overkill if you want performance per dollar, go with a standard grade board to save some extra The CM Hyper 212 EVO is a great cooler for the price With all that, you could get like a ASUS Strix 980 in that budget, especially if matching colors aren't important- 21 replies
