Personally I would wait, chances are the 118 will be cheaper than the 1080ti anyway

NJHourigan got a reaction from IAR117 in What is 2715X1527?
That's what I would recommend. You won't see a huge difference in visual quality but there will be some, similar to the improvement brought by anti-aliasing. A 1070 should be able to run games at that resolution pretty well, if not go look at some of the other options in DSR, and try a slightly lower up-res. The amount of fps you will lose will vary per game, some you may not lose any some you may lose alot, it would be easiest to just try it out with fraps or something.
Linus has a pretty old video that covers how to do it before DSR was an actual thing and you had to mess around with other settings to run at higher resolutions, but the video still shows off some of the benefits pretty well.

NJHourigan got a reaction from HunterSailor in Water Cooling a Motherboard
I'm pretty sure airflow being parallel and running along the board is exactly what you want, look at CPU heatsinks for example they have all of their fins parallel to the direction of airflow allowing the air to run along them.

NJHourigan got a reaction from HunterSailor in Water Cooling a Motherboard
You really don't need to watercool your motherboard, even if it does get up to 45 oC, motherboards don't get hot in the same way CPUs and GPUs do. And if it does somehow get too hot, some decent airflow across it in the case should be more than enough

Thanks to everyone who gave me answers on this topic. I got both the A80 and the H115i. I'll decide whichever one I prefer for my home computer, and I'll use other one in my work computer.
