The US is working on passing legislation that says job candidates don't have to report felony convictions to potential employers, it's a big step in the right direction.
The federal government also grants tax credits to large businesses that hire felons as an incentive.
 
Not only isn't it harder to find a good job as a convicted felon in the US; but you also lose your right to vote, lose access to medicare, and have restricted travel outside of the country. Once you get hit with that conviction (which is easier to happen than you might think) everything is turned against you for the rest of your life.

You tilted the motor at a hard angle while cleaning out the grass I'm guessing? You flooded some oil into places it shouldn't be, just let it sit a while and then run it again and it'll be fine.

I overcame a 7 year drug addiction. My main drug was always heroin, but I would do pretty much every stimulent you could throw my way.
It is said that if you were once an addict you will always be an addict, and I guess that is pretty true, but I have kept clean for a bit over 4 years now.

You'll be fine just don't press down really hard and do the first pass with the grain and then a second pass against it. Shaving cream or soap helps a lot if you're going to shave with a razor, but is unnecessary using an electric trimmer. You'll get a few knicks as you learn and it might hurt a little bit but you get used to it pretty quickly. 

When I was around 7-8, I went to the teachers desk to ask if I could go to the bathroom because I felt sick. She refused to let me go, and I vomited on her and her chalkboard. It was only embarrassing for a short time then turned hilarious.
