  1. This shouldn't be the case, since you can tell (and Asus shows) that their "Auto Extreme Technology" built PCB comes on the Strix one way or another. Here's a video for reference.
  2. Small form factor makes it a great portable game maker, as well as a presentation starter!
  3. About a week ago, Aliso Niguel High School, a school in the Orange County area of Southern California won a competition for the most student surveyors on Chegg.com, a tutoring website. The school won a concert hosted by Macklemore and a $10,000 grant. But rumor says that 6 parents did not like this idea, as his music "Promoted Drug Use" and other rumors state that the lead person of the music facilities denied the $10,000 because he did not support gay rights, but Macklemore (As we all know) does. Whatever caused this, who knows. But what we know is that yesterday early Monday, October 12th the principal announced that they have officially declined this offer, stating that quote, "We have had complaints from parents, and will not be accepting this generous prize". She even had a picture of herself holding the giant check plastered to the homepage here: https://anhs-capousd-ca.schoolloop.com/ And so naturally, many students(and even parents as well as random supporters) have been angered and with the hashtag #bringbackmac have started to protest this movement. One person named Sydney Freeman Sacker started a change.org petition to fight back at 8:00PM on the same day. When this was posted, supporters have already reached roughly 5,500 backers. Macklemore himself has even retweeted (here: https://twitter.com/macklemore/status/653802025272999937 ) a student's post quoting "That's disappointing". More about this here: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/macklemore-687313-students-parents.html MTV had an article as well: http://www.mtv.com/news/2347743/macklemore-ryan-lewis-aliso-niguel-high-school-chegg-contest-grant/ I, as a student of this high school, kindly ask of the LTT community to step up, get that hashtag trending, and support the cause on change.org. Again, any type or kind of support is helpful, but this is all your free will. And if you do support the cause, I as well as all the high school students thank you for your participation in this movement. Again, you can support the cause at https://www.change.org/p/aliso-niguel-high-school-allow-macklemore-at-aliso-niguel-high-school EDIT: Our school is struggling to keep funds up, and they declined it. I feel like thats stupid, don't you guys? I mean, 50 cent worth lunch for $3.00?!?! I could get better food and even more at Costco. EDIT2: It was a Q&A session apparently. UPDATE: WE GOT THE Q&A & THE GRANT BACK! For those of you who supported, thank you!
  4. ...I think ill cut like a carbon fiber thingy similar to the one d-brand sells or something
  5. I see. Welp, glad you gained some knowledge here!
  6. Ok so, yeah you have a point. And really, I don't need corsair link. Is there any way I can like, "Cover" the sticker without voiding anything, while keeping the build clean?
  7. Do you have a bad reputation with corsair?
  8. I was just about to say RMi's have largely improved, my friend showed me one and we compared it to his old RM series. Corsair Link too
  9. I understand the money issue, but I trust them and It looks nice, so i'm willing to pay the extra for the looks. Problem is, how many watts do I actually need? if 1000 isn't enough Ill go EVGA
  10. I want to get the RM1000i PSU, but I don't know if that will last me long and/or it will be enough (Around 10 or so years till next upgrade). Can I get some help? 11. Been on Windows 10 MacBook for a week now, and Bootcamp drivers where just updated. You should be good to go.
  12. I like the corsair fans(Noctua are nice, but like I said, aesthetics), and I know about the AF-SP thing. Good catch, I will fix that now. Red LED's are for the red-white-black theme (Front fan replacement). G1 Gaming is blue. Trying to keep the theme and orientation. 760T case is flexible, but has a nice big window and still has a good build structure. And again, aesthetics.
  13. The 980ti's are for long term use, I'll have this build for around 10-20 years at the most. 1080p is to stick to my budget, I want 3 monitors, and I'll have upgrade capabilities in the future if I want to go 4k or something. I would go Skylake, but a 10% increase in performance isn't gonna change much (To me, at least), I personally like this motherboard (I own it), and I'm not up for upgrading my RAM to DDR4 either, if I have to or not. Sounds stupid after what I just said above, but just saving money here. I'd rather have GPU power than CPU power in the future.
  14. ROG(Asus)/Corsair oriented build I need to get this build checked by many sources before I can build it. Posted this topic already once, re-configured build, changed budget, etc. If I need improvements, I would like to keep the money at the same price as the build, VERY little wiggle room (Keeping the fans and aesthetics, really like this color scheme) Anyway- How does THIS one look internet! *Will be buying in November, GTX 980ti should be cheaper by then* PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($302.38 @ Micro Center) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (Purchased For $0.00) Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII FORMULA ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (Purchased For $0.00) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (Purchased For $0.00) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($88.54 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($143.62 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($163.06 @ Newegg) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($798.12 @ Amazon) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($798.12 @ Amazon) Case: Corsair 760T White ATX Full Tower Case ($163.58 @ Micro Center) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($169.78 @ NCIX US) Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer (Purchased) Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF120 Performance Edition (2-Pack) 63.5 CFM 120mm Fans ($31.95 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans ($30.12 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 67.8 CFM 140mm Fan ($22.56 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF140 Red 66.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($17.26 @ NCIX US) Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF140 Red 66.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($17.26 @ NCIX US) Monitor: Asus VS248H-P 24.0" Monitor ($162.50 @ SuperBiiz) Monitor: Asus VS248H-P 24.0" Monitor ($162.50 @ SuperBiiz) Monitor: Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor ($269.98 @ Amazon) Keyboard: Logitech G910 Orion Spark Wired Gaming Keyboard ($151.18 @ Amazon) Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse ($57.79 @ Amazon) Headphones: Logitech G930 7.1 Channel Headset ($80.98 @ Amazon) Other: Pop Filter ($8.00) Other: Blue Yeti Blackout ($140.00) Other: Logitech Webcam ($74.00) Other: Mic Stand ($108.00) Other: Triple Monitor Stand ($65.00) Other: Windows 10 + Office ($60.00) Other: Fan Header Extention ($10.00) Other: Network Cable (Microcenter) [35ft] ($15.00) Other: Sharingan Sticker ($4.00) Other: 1x Displayport Cable ($8.00) Other: 3x HDMI Cable ($15.00) Other: 2x Displayport Male~HDMI Female ($32.00) Other: USB Xbox controller adapter ($10.00) Other: Xbox 360 USB Charge Kit ($15.00) Other: USB 2.0 Extension Hub [NZXT Velcro] ($20.00) Other: Bottom Dust Filer ($6.00) Other: Top-Rear Dust Filter ($4.00) Other: Top Dust Filter ($20.00) Total: $4245.28 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-08-17 02:54 EDT-0400 *EDIT: Removed RM1000i for EVGA 1300W **EDIT: Replaced 2-pack SP fans for 2-pack AF fans

  16. Yep, it's discontinued. What a shame, white was a good color.
  17. So I did some searching, and every website Corsair retails to has it out of stock, or someone's selling it for like $300. Its $139.
  18. So I'm building a computer soon. But I have run into a problem. The case I want, The Corsair Vengeance C70 White case is out of stock. Does anyone know whether or not they got discontinued, and if they didn't, when will it be back on the market?
