Been thinking about selling it to start fresh, as I don't game as much anymore, but my main monitor is a 1440P ultrawide monitor, and when I play I don't want to downgrade...
  2. Amazing part list honestly, as @Slottr mentionned, going to the non X version of the CPU might save you a few $ but there is a slightly higher overclocking potential. The air cooler he suggested is amazing but the liquid cooling you have is a very good bang for your buck The motherboard is a very solid choice I'm going to side with you with the nvidia card. The AMD card is great but driver stability is hard to beat with nvidia and the powersupply is a solid choice, but I'm a bit of an EVGA fanboy. I built so many PCs for my and my friends and customer. They all have EVGA powersupplies in them, and none of them have failed on them or me yet. Not even my friend who has been running it with his 250W AMD FX 9590 for the past 5 years. Can't beat that kind of reliability
  3. When was this filmed? I'm curious to see if he could benchmark the new Ryzen 2 CPUs as they were on par or even beating the Intel CPUs in the productivity benchmarks. I'm just curious to see how they stack in this specific scenario.
  4. I thought Colton got fired a few years ago... Twice actually? /S Good video guys!
  5. Someone gave me the Lian-Li fans with individually addressable RGB lights, but they have some property plug, but I don't have the controller, I don't want to use the controller, in fact, I won't even be turning on the lights on the fans. Is there a way to swap out the plugs from my old fans to those new ones?
  6. The advertised memory speeds are determined by the speed of 2 sticks running in dual channel, which both speed are added up. Which explains why when you open CPU-Z, the memory specs shows half the speed. The specs clearly mentions that they have 16GB of ram running at 2440MHz. Which it doesn't, since it's single channel
  7. Well they put a 2400MHz stick in it, but they advertise as 2440MHz, but u guess that's minor... I just thought since they didn't configure it to run at advertised speed it was false advertising
  8. After watching Gamer's Nexus and Bitwit Kyle's review of the walmart OP Prebuilt PC, the base model with 16GB of ram model only has 1 stick of ram, which means it runs in Single channel, it means the memory runs half the speed its advertised... Is this considered false advertising?
  9. Whole room water cooling episode 2? Amirite?
  10. The GPU (both R7 240 and the 750ti) doesn't need a 350w power supply, as they only draw 75w from the motherboard. They recommend using a 350w power supply to make sure that you have enough power, no matter the other components you have. When a company sells a prebuilt, they did the math on how big the power supply needs to be for the current system. I'd say go for it, as long as the replacement GPU doesn't require any PCIe power connector.
  11. How did you guys get away with putting an unreleased and unannounced corsair product in your video? (I'm talking about the triple core radiator AiO) @LinusTech
  12. I got a BeQuiet! Shadow Rock 2, works amazing for the cheap price!

Im probably going to end up using it through HDMI, though this was mainly for the second PC, which is through HDMI, and both of my Xbox (360 and One S), plus my Google Home Mini through Bluetooth. I just wanted to be able to send my music from my main PC and sometimes game audio. That's why I was trying to figure out a way to do that with the sound card. I understand that it's far from optimal, and I will probably end up using an HDMI aswell, I just didn't know optic cables were THAT obsolete... (which is kinda sad if you ask me) If you think that both system will deliver about the same experience, I'm probably going to cheap out and get thee Onkyo one. Thanks!

I forgot to write in my description that I have a HT Omega Fenix dedicated sound card, which has all those ports... that's why I'm trying to avoid the integrated of both the motherboard and GPU Im using the 3 bottom panels for gaming as well, as I mainly do racing sim, the 144Hz panel is for my fps once in a while

What about coaxial? is it as obsolete? Or is it worst? Also, I'm looking at these 2 kits: Onkyo HT-S3800 Immersive 5.1-Channel Surround Sound Speaker System Yamaha YHT1840 B Dynamic Home Audio/Video Product Is the Yamaha worth the extra money? I don't want to feel like I wasted my money, especially since I'm still in an apartment complex so I can't "crank it up" 90% of the time (sometimes they all leave for the weekend)
