    So did you try holding the Power supply up to plug in the 4-pin?

    To overclock your CPU, you do not need to overclock the RAM at the same time. That just gives you more performance benefits. If both the multiplier and the bus speed are the locked, the CPU cannot be overclocked. So if what you said is true, than you can't overclock that CPU.

    It would work. have you tried just holding it while you test the basic system. I would recommend trying that first because you should make sure everything works before you go out and buy something. Just try holding it up while you test the basic system. If you get a display out, then you could buy that.

    I would most certainly say EVGA. Anyone think that HP is the least trusted brand?

    The Corning 200ft optical Thunderbolt cable and 100ft Corning 3.Optical cables (which just so happened to be featured on Linustechtips).

    I find that they are by no means necessary. I even swapped hard drives out in a room with carpet floors (don't call me stupid, I know it wasn't the greatest idea) and did not do any damage. All I did was touch the case at the beginning of the process and did not walk around.

    Chose a motherboard that does not support analog fan speed control. GROWL!!!
