  1. Ok, so apparently when my refresh rate is 120hz and my fps is around 120 or even higher its all good, however, when the fps is low there's stuttering and its frustuating for the eyes. I get the same bad stuttering on 60hz/60fps or even higher. Any ideas?
  2. Hey, i can confirm the low gpu usage amd cards have in GTA V, i just tried it, but i seem to experience other bugs as well such as these - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/347885-gta-v-stuttering-r9-290/ I'd like to see if you guys have the same issues with your R9's!
  3. I tried without vsync, with vsync, half vsync, 60hz, 100hz, 120hz... same result really. it also seems to crash a lot lately after the loading/intro videos...
  4. Yea i'm using 15.4 drivers. Gpu usage is average 70%, sometimes it drops below 60fps, but its mostly around 60.
  5. Gigabyte B85M-D2V | Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 | Kingston hyperX 8GB | XFX R9 290 DD 15.4 drivers | CM G650M | Windows 8.1 64bit Any ideas how to fix this?
  6. I dont use any frame limiters. Where do i disable the hd audio device manager? Its a bit high, because its overclocked, but i tried with no clock too, same issue. CPU powering savings are off.
  7. Heres video from dead island, its much more terrbile than the rest games(in which its also noticeable, but much less): watch in 720p60.
  8. I tried, didn't helped. Im really upset with my amd r9 290 so far, only causes me issues...
  9. Right, i still have the same issue and its really frustuating... any ideas? I dont feel like going back to 7(again) to see if it fixes it.
  10. I thought its unlocked on default on windows 8.1? Heres a pic from default settings, do i need to change anything?:
  11. So i just tried portal 2 which runs the same engine as cs go and insurgency, but it runs a lot more smoother with no stutering/microstuttering at all... so im guessing its something software. Any ideas?
  12. Cpu is getting at 60c Gpu barely passes 70c vrm1 is usually hotter and ges to 80c, but thats it. So its not system overheating. Theres people runing on G550M with the same gpu and its all fine, so surely its not the psu. How do i test with the latency tool?
