  1. It might come with a half height bracket........ most of the small card do.
  2. I would remove the cpu cooler and put the Gpu back in it box , and put the pc in its box as well
  3. Have you tried disabling Hardware acceleration?
  4. Sounds its like a cooler issue, 1.24v is not to high for an overclock, stock should be around 1.1v ish. Also Prime95 should not be used for haswell, and when stress testing set your voltage to static. I would recommend using Intel extreme tuning utility for the stresstest
  5. Where did you get that from, My evo works well with my 4790k @ 4.8 Ghz
  6. I have a Msi z97m gaming mobo, had the 00 debug code, tried everything, had to send it in for rma.
  7. Someting like this http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=94331&vpn=02G-P4-3751-KR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1428&promoid=1428 would be best, I don't think it even needs external power.
  8. An r9 280x can put out a decent amount of heat, and the i7 4790k can as well. The stock cooler on the cpu is crap. The hyper 212 evo is a beast. I got my 4790k clocked to 4.8GHZ @ 1.25V and the evo keeps it under 75 deg C @100 load. Upgrade your cooler.
  9. Use (+) and(-) to change the setting, change CPU ratio.
  10. I taped a piece of carboard to my desk for a mouse pad.......
