Has anyone got any idea if there is a pattern to corsair launching PSUs? I'm looking to get a new one and I'm wondering if its a good time to drop cash on a RM750i Thanks

Sorry, I increased the thermal limit to 92 Celsius and increased the power limit to 122%. It doesn't run much hotter than about 65 most of the time
-
Fucking feels that way I'll be stripping it down to put on the thermal pads later in the week so I'll see what happens after that I guess

So I've had my 1070 for the win for a few months and started to try overclocking it last week. In precision x oc I had the power limit up to 122% temp, thermal limit up to 92 degrees, and the voltage up to 100%. The most I could stably put on the card was a 30Mhz offset on the core and 400Mhz on the memory. If I put more on the core, any game or benchmark would freeze after a minute or so. Has anyone got any advice?

flip the BIOS switch on the card, it'll give you a max power limit of 120% Might help. Haven't tried overclocking my 1070 FTW yet, but I'm getting boost clocks at 2012Mhz so I don't feel the need right now

I've run into a similar problem. You could be experiencing issues with your PCI-e lanes. I found that my GPU was only being used at x1 speed. Install GPU-Z and see what it is running at currently.

Oh. Thank you!! I'll give that a try
