Okay, did a fresh reboot closed all background applications and scored 557.
 
I think some of the background applications were using a little too much cpu usage.

If anything I can try to see what fps I get with the 4690k and if it's not enough I can save some more and get the i7

Nvidia - GTX 970 AMD - R9 390

AMD wins again... SURPRISE! This one is much closer though. The R9 390 beats the GTX 970 by just a few FPS in every game except The WItcher 3, and this gap stays roughly the same when overclocking. The R9 380 has over double the VRAM, at 8GB VS the GTX 970's 3.5GB effective memory (it has 4GB, of which only 3.5GB is fast enough to be useful). This means that the R9 390 is a MUCH better choice if you are using high detail texture packs at 1440p/4K.

Ok i think mine is fine since it has not blown up after like 1-2 years ^^

Yeah well it has worked fine with my 770 so im just going to try putting it in and hope for the best ;D

The Fury card from amd is also coming out maybe that could be a good option aswell i hope its a little cheaper.

DraStic DS Emulator would also be a option but its not free though.
