  1. Oh yeah you are right mine has 2x6 pin pcie and others are sata peripherals so i guess i need to upgrade the psu aswell.
  2. Hey guys i have decided to buy a gtx 970 and another one later for sli but i need a new motherboard and need to know if my case can fit a atx motherboard based on the picture in the attached files. Also could you help me find a good budget motherboard with socket 1150 for sli.
  3. The Fury card from amd is also coming out maybe that could be a good option aswell i hope its a little cheaper.
  4. Well its more about the price for me. Currently i am gaming at 1080p and maybe later 1440p but not 4k. I just need a card that i can use for some years with stable 60 fps at 1080p and later 1440p maybe.
  5. Hi how close would the performance be between a gtx 980 that is overclocked vs a gtx 980 ti stock? If it is close i could save some money by buying a gtx 980 instead.
  6. I am planning to buy a gtx 980 ti, to upgrade from a gtx 770 and was wondering, if my i5 4690 non k version would bottleneck the 980 ti.
  7. It may be a problem with the reference cooler but i have seen multiple other overclock their 970 to match 980 performance with the aftermarket coolers.
  8. Well i have heard that the asus model of the r9 290x does not cool as well as the other brands. But i dont have one myself so i cant confirm anything
  9. Yeah that is how you do it but the first time i tried it i had to wait longer than 15 mins and i had to make sure there was no power running through my system. Also there are other ways of doing it try following these steps: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS i would suggest you try all of them to be sure.
  10. I have had this happen to me also with a r9 270x, i think i reset the bios to work try that and reply back with your result.
  11. Then it will choose the one with the lowest ram, so you will have 2gb vram
  12. Would you consider that a good upgrade?
  13. I am currently gaming at 1080p and later at 1440p and with only 2gb of vram i am a little worried it will not be enough also it would be nice go get a stable 60 fps also in the more graphic intensive games. Do you have some suggestions for a new graphics card? I dont really care if it is from nvidia or from amd. I was looking at the GTX 970 but i dont know if it is worth it for 4gb of vram and only a small bump in performace. So i could use some Suggestions from you guys.
  14. Yes that might take a while to get a game that is taking full advantage of windows 10 and directx 12 but directx 12 is showing a lot of promise i am personally very excited.
  15. Is your 7970 overclocked in any way? You could try Downclocking your core and memory. Otherwise i would check the ram to see if they work as intended.
  16. Yeah you should be fine with 2 980s in sli for 4k gaming. With directx 12 there is also a chance that you can double the vram so you have 8gb but we will have to see what windows 10 and directx 12 can do once its out
  17. More memory does not mean more fps in most cases. in 4k it might give you ekstra 2-3 fps but nothing major.
  18. DraStic DS Emulator would also be a option but its not free though.
  19. My question is would i need the 8gb of the r9 290x in the future. I am gaming at 1080p and later 1440p, or would the 4gb of the gtx 970 be ok for those resolution also in the future. Then there is also the upcoming 300 series from amd which are mostly rebrands besides the Fury with hbm which i could be interested in also. What do you guys think ^^?.
  20. Yeah i think i will wait and see. I have heard the cards are releasing this month so i just have to be patient i guess ^^.
