  1. My point was basically that we dont know how much vram future games will use. So it may be usefull to have 8gb.
  2. If he want to game at higher resolution at some point the 8gb could become usefull in the future. But i guess we will just have to wait and see how much vram new games in will use.
  3. Well i know it says that on the box but i easily run a r9 390x with a 635w PSU. You will get a good gaming experience wichever card you choose. I myself chose the r9 390x over the gtx 980 because i for one wanted to try AMD since i have not had a gpu from them and the 8gb vram on the card is nice also, who knows how much vram you will need in the future. Its like people said you would not need more than 2gb vram for 1080p but recent games easily went over that. I myself come from a gtx 770 2gb card and it stutters like hell if you get over the 2gb. So all in all both are great cards and both trade blows in games.
  4. They wont work with the new r9 300 series its only the special driver made for those cards. But yeah i guess i will have to switch back to 8.1 if there is not coming a driver for windows 10 soon.
  5. I am on windows 10 right now and i have had a lot of problems getting the driver to work. The only way i managed to get it working was manually adding them via device manager. Is there coming a driver out soon for windows 10 or am i screwed? Also i am having stuttering problems on many games with a i5 4690 including gta 5 which is the worst. do you maybe know a solution for this?
  6. Its all working as it should after some driver tweaking
  7. I will report back once i get home from work
  8. Ok i think mine is fine since it has not blown up after like 1-2 years ^^
  9. Yeah well it has worked fine with my 770 so im just going to try putting it in and hope for the best ;D
  10. Its this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152046
  11. i got a it i5 4690 with a 635W PSU
  12. ok i got a 635watts power supply so i hope im good to go
  13. What is the psu requirements for 390x? Do someone have one and what power supply do you have?
  14. I am more thinking about the future with higher resolutions.
  15. Do you guys think the extra vram on the 390x would come in handy in the future? Like the people said 2gb vram was enough?
  16. Msi afterburner have many options in game would be my best bet
  17. Well of course they will both benefit but i am thinking of buying one of them ^^
  18. Do you think the r9 390x or the gtx 980 would be fastest. A lot of people say that amd hardware will benefit very much from the new api but what do you guys think?
  19. New games might require more power than a 960 , a 970 would be your best bet as you want to max games out in the future also at 60 fps.
  20. Yeah the 980 seems like a really good card and the deal i found for the same price as 390X is very good.
  21. Looking at most of the benchmarks you have shown me it seams like the 980 is the faster card and since its the same price i think i will go for it.
  22. For me here in europe i can find them at exactly the same price. Currently i am gaming at 1080p and later 1440p.
  23. Which one should i get it is the same price here where i live. would the 8gb have any influence on future games maybe?
  24. Well maybe your gpu was already damaged by the first motherboard or psu?
  25. There is also Xamarin which allows you to develop in c#: http://xamarin.com/platform
