dont get a monitor thats 1080p 144hz. such a waste, especially for 980ti, get a 1440p 144hz or 120hz, but ye 60hz is for gpu's around that frame, 980ti will go way over 60, 180's and stuff defepending on game, so get 120hz or 144hz, 1440p, not 1080p

Hey as the title says, i was thinking of water cooling which is the best option, possibly the nzxt kraken x61, but my build also focuses on silence, i'm scared that it will create too much noise, im going to be using fractal define r5 case, so i am going to have to take off 2 parts on the top of the case, do you think there will be noise? I would like to use air cooling, but i want it to stay really cool, so i have no choice but to go with water cooling, but the question is if it is too loud or loud at all please someone help ty.

First of all, here is my build, my ssd will be after 3 months, i'm not going to list it here, its going to be samsung 850 pro 256gb. Also will be getting a 4k montior, 1ms, all that good stuff same time as the ssd, and later i will be getting my other gtx 980 in order to sli. Hey i need help on power target, when i have evga precisionx open i see a slide that has power limit, im at 100 atm, and im guessing the more power limit, the more i can get out of the card, but it doesnt let me go above 100, i put 125 and goes back to 100. So i thoght if i reduce power limit it is better? idk? please someone help me, or explain what it does, ty

Hey, I'm looking for a nice case, silent, good airflow, supports optical drive, removable hard drive cages if possible, and decent looking. I was going to get the r5 titanium, but then i realised, my gaming rig is going to be atleast $2,000, i need a good looking case, not something that looks like a box. So i was wondering if anyone has an suggestions of a nice looking ( not fancy stuff) case, that is silent and all the stuff i mentioned before, for price range, i'm looking for a maximum of around $150(don't worry about budget) EDIT: Also if it has some sort of window panel, that doesn't affect the cases performance that would be great, as in, doesn't affect how silent the case is, or the airflow.

I just saw a linus video on how a cooler affects the lifespan of a card, so does that mean the asus gtx 980 strix cooler which doesnt even turn on until a certain load, reduce lifespan? vs the gigabyte one that is always on, so does the gigabyte have higher lifespan?

I'm looking for a motherboard price range 170-210, i had the asus vii hero in mind ($210) but i want to see if theres anythign better for that price or even lower, (the price doesnt concern me unless it is over 210. I need a z97 lga 1150 and it has to support at least 2 way sli( prefered if it is red and black so it can match my ram and gpu)

My choice was the asus, and still is atm, but ive seen some talk around that gigabyte is the best, like i dont look at small stuff like, it can overclock 20mhz more.

for $620 usd you can get r9 295x2, or if you want, you can get sli 970's but sli doesnt work on all games, and it doesnt always give that much of an increased performance. If i were you i would wait till the r9 390x comes out, its like 1 month or so, although i hate amd to death, its gunna be a new card so ye.

Hi i was wondering which is better, they are both the same price for me, i would like to know the maximum overclock it can get to on core and memory clock if possible, which is a better cooling solution, dont worry about watts, dont worry about length, im just worried about performance and sound.

1 more thing real quick, if i get the windowed r5, do i get more noise or some type of negative influence?
