Has anyone else had any issued with their MSI Airboost OC 8G being really sensitive to static?
My room is quite dry and I have carpet. If I were to generate (minimal) static by walking in my socks, then touching any I/O on the case (including front panel headphone jacks, and rear display ports) the GPU instantly cuts display - fans increase to max RPM and requires a reboot.
Interestingly, the rest of the PC stays on, including the audio passing through my headphones. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this? I'm hoping to upgrade soon anyway, but would like to get the problem fixed before I sell this GPU!
(note, this never occurred on my other GPUs in this same PC).
