VikingGaming got a reaction from AlmightyJohn in components killing the GPU?
GPU clockspeeds all of a sudden dropping to unusually low (lower than stock) speeds can be a sign of a failed overclock (AKA, the GPU driver crashes and starts in a "safe mode". All nVidia cards does this).

If I'm not mistaken, Alibaba is as big (if not bigger than) as Amazon. I don't think you'll have any issues.

Probably some sort of a fan thing. See if you can see the fan blades hitting anything.

VikingGaming got a reaction from ARikozuM in Do docking stations/enclosures affect HDD performance
The only potential bottleneck of a docking station would be the interface it uses to connect to your PC. If it's USB 2.0, then yes, I can see it being slower. If it's USB 3.0 or newer I don't think it will be a problem at all (USB 3.0 is rated at 625 MB/s)

Sounds like the fan is in contact with the grill (or some internal component(s)). If you look at the fan while it's not spinning, is it level, or can you see if it's tilted (doesn't have to be tilted very far to come into contact with something)?

VikingGaming got a reaction from ianspy1 in CPU is not being cooled
Not trying to offend, but did you remember to take the plastic off the pump (there's plastic covering the base of many AiO coolers)?

If you're streaming more cores help, but no games can *properly* use 8 cores/16 threads. Most games can use up to 8/12 threads
4 cores per die or 2 cores per CCX
Game mode on the 1900X is stupid though, because it disables half the cores and you end up with a 1500X with 60 PCIe lanes

I think you'd see a performance boost if you get a GPU, especially if you're planning to play games. An SSD would speed up the boot times and such. I think you'd notice a performance increase as well if you upgraded the RAM. As for CPU, you might wanna upgrade to something newer/more powerful, but if I were you I'd get a GPU and more RAM, then see if a CPU upgrade is necessary.

VikingGaming reacted to ZombiPL in SENTRY: Console-sized gaming PC case project
It's usually 2 weeks. We need time to prepare invoices, customs documents, shipping papers etc., so we have to be sure that someone won't change his address while we are already sending his package. If your (VikingGaming) package is locked, then probably it will be sent next week.

Sentry manufacturing process - weekly update
Almost all packages from 4th transport sent. Only few cases are still waiting for the courier companies to pick them up, because some of you decided to change their addresses after we locked this option in your indiegogo accounts. Don't worry. Those will be sent on Monday and Tuesday. For people waiting for next transports we have one request: If you will decide to change your address to another country, please let us know about it. Indiegogo doesn't allow such option, so we have to solve it on our side. Your information will help us to avoid problems with sending packages to non-existing addresses in different than original destination countries. Thank you.
Ok. Back to the topic. As we wrote before, most of the packages from 4th shipping were taken by our transport companies:
At this moment we are working on assembling accessory boxes for 5th transport. By the end of this week we should be able to start preparations for another packaging process.
As a bonus to this update we are adding some photos sent by our supporters showing their nice PCs assembled inside Sentry. As usual you will find more in our forum topics.

Yes, bent pins will likely cause issues if you use the motherboard as it is right now.

He's not. He used a Kraken G10 bracket. It's a bracket you use instead of the stock cooler to mount standard AIO coolers to a GPU. Looks like this:

I'm using a 2TB WD Red in my PC, works great. Read/write speeds are sufficient for my needs.
