  1. 0.8Mbps is way to low to stream anything on twitch. Unless you mean watching a stream.
  2. Be sure that you are playing in full screen and not in some windowed mode. SLI and Crossfire do not work in windowed mode.
  3. I'd be careful of going to an earlier version than you currently have because if an older version doesnt support your hardware then we could run into trouble. That's just my opinion.
  4. In my experience I have yet to run into a PSU that sometimes works. It has always worked or it doesn't. Is there anything else plugged into the computer other than your video card? Sound card? capture card? modem? wifi card? Msata? Remove all unnecessary peripherals from the motherboard and do a clean install. If problem still persists try a different video card. If you can't get your hands on a different video card, do you have a different computer to install that card in? Need to figure out if there is something wrong with that videocard/motherboard/or some other peripheral. In my opionion it sounds like your motherboard is crapping out on you.
  5. I ran across an issue with a display going bad that would do this on a laptop. If you have another display to connect this to I would try that and see if you get the same results with a different display. Also the DVI cable could be an issue to. If your display supports different modes VGA/DVI/HDMI it could be that the DVI mode you're currently using on your display is faulty. Because you say this only happens in your BIOS. I would try updating your BIOS. If there is no available update. Just reinstall the same version you are currently using. Just a few things that come to mind I would try and see if that changes anything.
  6. You're going to need to hold down the shift key while mashing the f8 key. Then choose See Adavanced Repair Options ,then click Troubleshoot, then click Advanced Options (There is also a automatic repair option here I would suggest trying) then choose Windows Startup Settings. Finally click restart and when your computer boots you will see the safe mode option.
  7. Be sure you're plugging your powerines directly into a wall socket. Also try some different outlets in your house to see if your results change. Powerline uses the neutral wiring in your house. If you live in an old house your speeds may not be as fast as advertised. I've plugged power lines into outlets and had absolutely no connection due to bad wiring. Although the oulet itself still produces electricity. The powerlines work well, but I haven't seen one reach the speeds they advertise.
  8. If your motherboard will not post when that card is installed I would say that's a hardware problem. Sounds like a D.O.A to me. Could possibly be the PCI slot on the board though.
  9. When you mean freezes Is it a BSOD? Does it freeze is safe mode? If it doesn't freeze in safe mode I would try running Malwarebytes/download and run the malwarebytes anti-rootkit as well.
  10. Hi there, I recently received a customers computer that had Windows XP installed on it. She didn't want to fix the computer, but instead wanted to transfer her information to her new Gateway with windows 8 Installed. So I removed the hard drive from the XP machine and began backing up the data using Restorer Ultimate. I then removed the hard drive from the Gateway (Windows 8) and copied the folder of recovered data to it. So it looked like C:\Recovered Data\. I reinstalled the hard hard drive in the Gateway and booted the machine up and my folder of recovered data was gone. I tried doing a search for the missing folder and found nothing. So I tried it again naming the folder something different and copying it to a different directory and when I booted the windows 8 machine the backed up data would be gone. Transfering data to Windows 8 using a external hard drive or pushing it over the network has worked fine for me. But copying data to the hard drive when the machine is off leads me to this problem. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem
