  1. Hey all, I really hope someone can help me with my problem because it's driving my crazy, my last phone had this problem and now suddenly my new one and it's driving me crazy! Problem: My phone hangs on home Wifi's and can cause other Wifi devices to also slow down completely. (Only WIFI devices are affected) For example, I could be scrolling google or watching youtube and suddenly my phone will hang (Aka images/content will stop loading) for a few seconds and then it will catch up. This always happens within a few minutes of using my phone. Other devices are also affected and I have noticed it at my home in the UK with no difference (Currently live abroad). Note: At my company Wifi I have no problem. But I have experienced it at other peoples houses, everyone will then tell me to get off my phone.. legit that's how bad this is! That or I'm really going insane over this! Device / OS Version Samsung A52s 5G / Android 13 What I have tried: Getting a new phone. (My new phone started experiencing the same issues after 1 year, aka a few software updates. Old phone was a Sony Xperia XA1) Factory Reset Router/Modem. Factory Reset Phone. Turned Phone and On and Off. Turned Router/Modem On and Off. Forgot Network on Phone. Stood next to the Router/Modem. Tried a different phone web browser. Googling. I cannot seem to find anyone who has the same problem. Monitoring my PC directly connected to network to see if it experiences the issue when it occurs on my phone. It does not.
  2. It turned out to be a UDP setting in project cars 2 causing too many packets being sent. I decreased the amount it should send and all works without any issues! Thanks for all the help!
  3. Turns out one of the Nodes was causing the problem. I turned it off and it all seems back to normal now.
  4. Update: Tried enabling the port trigger for Project cars 2 and it made no difference. I just tried updating the firmware to the latest version and it said it was unsuccessful and ever since I did that it's now spamming the logs every second with wifi disconnects and reconnects. Currently I cannot get a single wifi device to stay connect, everything keeps dropping out as soon as it connects.....
  5. QoS: is on but as "Bandwidth Limiter" and I have not limited any devices. VPN: The router does act as a VPN. I have tested with it off and on and no matter what the same issues occurs.
  6. Hey all, Currently my Computer in my home office is connected directly in to a Asus RT-AC68U (Merlin). But as soon as I play any game on that computer all Wifi connections get disconnected and wont reconnect until I stop playing! I have tested it multiple times and it is 5/5 repro. I checked the logs of the router and it's showing a hell load of when I start playing any game: Mar 16 20:12:02 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Deauthenticated because sending station is leaving (or has left) IBSS or ESS (3) Mar 16 20:12:03 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(401): eth1: Disassoc ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:03 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(401): eth1: Disassoc ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:17 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(420): eth1: Auth ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:17 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(449): eth1: Assoc ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:19 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(401): eth1: Disassoc ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:19 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:19 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Class 2 frame received from nonauthenticated station (6) Mar 16 20:12:19 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Class 2 frame received from nonauthenticated station (6) Mar 16 20:12:19 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind *, status: 0, reason: Class 2 frame received from nonauthenticated station (6) Mar 16 20:12:20 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(420): eth1: Auth ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:20 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(449): eth1: Assoc ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:24 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(420): eth1: Auth ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:24 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(449): eth1: Assoc ***, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0) Mar 16 20:12:28 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Deauthenticated because sending station is leaving (or has left) IBSS or ESS (3) Mar 16 20:12:28 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(401): eth1: Disassoc ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:28 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Mar 16 20:12:28 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(386): eth1: Deauth_ind ***, status: 0, reason: Class 3 frame received from nonassociated station (7) Mar 16 20:12:29 syslog: WLCEVENTD wlceventd_proc_event(401): eth1: Disassoc ***, status: 0, reason: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Note: I *** out mac address. I have no problems if: I download a file/game (40gb+) Watch Youtube Talk on Discord/Teams I have problems when: Launch a game (Project Cars 2, FS2020, Xplane) FS2020, Xplane only happens randomly during a flight. Project Cars 2 is as soon as I press start to when I quit the game. Anyone have any idea? I have been struggling with this for months!
  7. Yeah.... unfortunately that's exactly what I thought. I was sorta hoping I was just missing the "hidden tick box" to fix all problems. I did try with some setting to remove the hiss, but as it's so loud I have to removed a lot of the audio. Then everything sounds like jelly Thanks for the quick response!
  8. Hi all, I recently just got my first capture card, ZasLuke Game Capture Card. Yes it's a cheap Chinese make which is produced under a million names... ignore that. My problem is, I'm hearing a hissing sound from the incoming audio on the PC. (Tried on 2 PC's, same issue) If I plug my headset into the capture card directly I hear no hiss (still hissing on pc though). If I plug something into the microphone port on the capture card, it halves the hissing sound instantly, but is still there on the pc. If I have the microphone plugged into the capture card and talk, during that time I talk the hiss is completely gone but slowly ramps back up. If I mute the capture card on the PC, of course the hissing stops completely but I cannot hear the game. I understand it is a super cheap capture card, but I cannot find anyone saying they have had this issue with this card or any card to that matter!? Any ideas?
  9. Just got an Amazon Fire Stick. All works great, no problems at all. Thanks everyone!
  10. The extractor has 2.1 and 5.1 settings. I have it set to 5.1, tried cycling though but no difference. Stream sites such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney +. Disney + being the main one I want to use at the moment. Don't seem to offer 5.1 or at sometimes 1080p output from browsers due to a load of reasons I read.
  11. Hey all, My setup at the moment is, Chromecast into a amazon basic audio extractor to split the hdmi to my EPSON EH-TW5300 Projector and the optical out to my Logitech z906 speakers. I noticed on the Logitech z906 that it is not decoding and can only use the 3d, 4.1 and 2.1 effects. I tried playing a 5.1 file though the Chromecast and I can confirm 2 channel. I'm not sure where the issue lies, either it's the Chromecast, the extractor or the speakers? Any ideas? I also have my PC right next to this setup with an Asus Xonar D2 Sound card. Maybe I can use this somehow? Thanks in advance! EDIT: I understand Windows Store apps allow 1080p + and 5.1 but I'm trying to get Chromecast to output 5.1.
  12. Perfect, I will be sure to take a look at these. I believe this has answer my question with more then enough information. Thanks Everyone!
  13. Yes all the tools have CLI support. Any ideas on how to get started?
