  1. Summary Back in the old days, "flashcarts", notably the Acekard and Ezflash, were types of cartridges that go into your nintendo handheld with games preloaded, and they would play with no issues. It was a fantastic device for piracy. Since the DS days, there has not been one for development for any of the newer nintendo consoles....Until now. The MiG switch, which utilizes a microSD card to load games on it, could be placed on ANY switch console on ANY firmware. Proof of video evidence showing it working in the news article. Quotes My thoughts Will LTT be obtaining one and testing it out? How will nintendo fight back? The device is made in Russia. 2. Summary Denuvo protection software is now available for game developers of the nintendo switch. This is mainly to combat switch emulation on the PC. This is likely done to combat the early leakage of high profile games such has Zelda TOTK. Quotes My thoughts This news might impact those who bought the steam deck to use as a switch emulator and also game preservation. The real question is, would this have any affect in combating piracy anyway? Since denuvo will get cracked eventually. 3. I am looking for a e-ink display for manga reading and note taking. REmarkable tablet seems too dependent on subscription model for basic functionality. I would like to know if the kindle scribe is a better option/competitor. @RILEYISMYNAME
  4. https://tankpit.com/ It was remade into utanks but it closed down. Tankpit is still around. Edit: haha I messed up. I made this while I was watching the wan show and didn't continue to watch and just jumped on making this topic. Glad he figured it out.

  6. I am not a huge audiophile by any means. But I have a pair of senheisser HD 598 and an antlion uni and using mobo built in sound. I am interested in upgrading my sound set up though for gaming mainly. My choices are the Schiit Hel 2 (for the also built in microphone jack) or the FiiO E10K (which would also require me to get a wireless antlion mic because I don't want wires going all over the place). What should I do? I am leaning towards the hel 2 because of the mic jack and I can reuse my old antlion mic.
  7. My usage case is just for personally just to play console games, and occasional share the steam on discord for my friends to watch for entertainment etc. I care more about the "instant gameview" they advertise, whether if its playable or not. So from what I understand now, the 4K60 would be an upgrade then in terms of the delay?
  8. I own a elgato HD 60pro internal card which has hardware encoding (H.264 encoder chip built in) . It looks like they don't sell that anymore. I am looking to replace it down the line if it does break. Is there a successor to this card that has hardware encoding similarly to this one? I mainly use the gamecapture HD program to play consoles games within the windows PC (not use the output) and the delay is minimal because of the hardware encoding (is this even true?). Does the elgato 4K60 support this? I just want to be able to play consoles games within my windows PC while I am on discord and browsing windows all within one monitor for easy multitasking. It's more economical for me to not have to buy a new monitor for the output.
  9. I played it because he recommended it. Amazing game. 10/10
  10. How is their gameview software? I want to play it on my desktop monitor instead so I can freely switch between them.
  11. Hi. I am interested in using my PC to stream the console output to avoid excessive wiring, playing to my monitor and having my PC act as a hub for everything. Is the elgato cards a great solution for this, particularly interested in the pcie HD 60 pro one? Discord streaming/chat on the fly is a big bonus. I just want to make the experience as convenient as much as possible so I don't have to unplug and replug audio set ups and monitors everytime I switch between my PC and consoles.

  13. I am a resident physician who is in need of a new laptop. I have been running a Acer aspire S7 for 8 years now and the battery just doesn't hold up for long work days. I need a reliable laptop, thin and light with good battery life, so I can study for my licensing boards and doing my patient work. I am interested in the surface laptop 3. Does anyone have other recommendations? How is the Dell XPS 13 in comparison to the surface?
