    Return or not ?

Hello to everyone,I got quick question here: My sister bought me rtx 2080 asus strix gpu and as I guess it's not an OC version, returning it back will be serious pain in the ass,so I'm interested if this gpu can be overclocked manually and safely to the levels of OC edition? I was worried that I will get card with 1710mhz clocks and non A chip. My aim was to buy at this moment something powerful enough for a couple of years,so I wanted it to have some OC potential... Would you be so nice and check photo I've attached? If with the "worst" strix 2080 I can get good OC anyways,I can have that card on my hands in about 1 week when my sister visits me from another country or she can return it and I can get some OC version by myself in a couple of months or so...
  4. So I don't have finally decided, but thinking of buying 2080 MSI WIll it be good decision made by me now or should I wait for price drop or any new products ? I was thinking also about 2070 which can be enough for 1440p gaming by reducing some settings, but price difference (about 150-200 euro) between them isn't a real problem for me,so should I go with 2080 msi? ))

HD 569 vs Hd 280 Pro vs M50x

Hello everyone! I need to buy some headphones for me and I have 2 major requirements from them: 1) Best outside noise cancellation ( For using public bus, sometimes air travel etc) 2) Maximum comfort (not too tight on head,I had to return Major 2 headphones, cause they were too tight,I have small head, but still) Since my budget is something between 100-150$ and I made several researches, this headphones came in my head: HD 569 - 100 euro HD 280 Pro - 100 euro ATH M50x - 130 euro I'm not audiophile,so I don't have high demands for lows, highs, treble, bass and everything else... Main thing is max noise cancel and max comfort, thanks in advance!
  6. As I understand only optimal option is buying 2080... I was just wondering if there would be any sense in waiting for this cards for price drop + which 2080 is better to buy? Are Gigabyte 2080 good cards? They are kinda cheaper than all the others
  7. Hello everyone,I just finished building my new PC and now GPU buying is a concern. My build is: Gigabyte Z390 Ultra 9700k + be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 16GB DDR4 G.Skill 3200 Samsung 970 Evo + 4TB HDD Corsair RM850x (2018 edition) + be quiet silent base 800 I play on full HD 60hz and now I need to step in 1440p gaming with 144hz monitor (also looking recs for this one) Mainly I play World of Tanks, but I always play AAA games when they are out, mostly FPS and TPS games. Since there are some problems with 2080 and 2080ti cards dying and amd doesn't offer anything interesting at this moment Now I play WOT on medium settings with on board gpu (uhd 630) so basically I can wait for some new releases, but as I guess it's not happening in new future. I need gpu to power one 144hz monitor for gaming and another 60hz big TV for movies, adventure games, browsing etc... 2070 isn't fully enough for 1440p gaming, which makes choice even more difficult, what should I do?
  8. I think it's in the middle,no ? Master>Ultra>Pro Wifi>Pro>Elite Oh and I don't care about complicated bios + now it was updated and is much easier than before
  9. Couple of days ago 9700k was for 385$ and 8700k is 360$ + 2 more cores,I don't understand where is money saving here (25$ is funny, when building 2500$ PC ) Thanks for mobo advices btw P.S which is better aorus pro wifi or carbon ac and why ?
  10. I will take aorus pro wifi, does it have good vrm ?
  11. I have be quiet dark rock pro 4 What asrock will provide me for extra 50 euro that gigabyte can't do ?
  12. Master is about 290 euro and I'm with that prices I'm stepping to another level I don't need anything special, just mild oc and some fan headers(of course mobo should be a good quality) By the way,I don't know what level (entry, mid or enthusiast) was my Asus Z77 V-LE which I bought about 6 years ago
  13. So I narrowed down to this mobos: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WIFI - 200 euro ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F and E - 225 and 250 euro ASRock Z390 Taichi - 250 euro Should I go with Gigabyte mobo? I'm kinda feeling I will pay extra 25% for Asrock and Asus and will not use their extra features they provide or am I missing something ? Please give me recommendations because I need to buy it ASAP Thanks in advance! Thanks for only one reasonable answer
  14. Thanks for only one reasonable answer
  15. Hi guys,I'm kinda finishing my build,it's time for mobo to choose. I'll be running 9700k,16gb ddr4 and probably 2070 or 1080ti or 2080,whichever will be on sale or smth. I don't need: RGB,wifi etc... I want to do mild oc (20-25% from base clock) because I don't want cpu to run on max tdp/power etc. Just solid quality board and maybe 4-5 fan headers for better cable management instead of fan controller.
