  1. Platform Launch and MASSIVE GIVEAWAY

  2. What is this Intel Compute Stick?

Come to think of it, I could plug in the USB wireless plug for my Logitech wireless combo keyboard & mouse & use this as my emergency computer to contact LTT for help when I have problems with my main rig --- hmmmmm!
  3. What is this Intel Compute Stick?

"It’s everything you love about your desktop computer in a device that fits in the palm of your hand". http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/compute-stick/intel-compute-stick.html (Minus the RAM, mass storage, video card, USB 2.0/3.0 ports, card reader, mouse & keyboard! LOL)!
  4. Why do people buy boring generic PC cases

I agree & disagree. I like the looks of both kinds that you show. But, which one's easier to work on/in? Which one's easier to mod out to something totally unique? Pre-modded cases can look great, but it takes a whole lot like real work to turn them into something special, unless you plan to cut off all the stuff that makes them look good to begin with, which would make buying one pointless, lol!
  5. Thermaltake Versa H22 Project

Starting with my Dell Inspiron 560 parts, this will wind up as an ASUS Sabertooth build.
  6. As Jerry, (Barnacules), would say, "This info is for poor people", LOL!
  7. I had to search for days to NOT be able to find this info, so I'm posting this for anyone who has a Dell 18d1y Socket LGA 755 motherboard and needs to replace their power switch &/or case.
  8. What size is your Primary Display?

    40" Samsung Smart TV
  9. A dark theme for LinusTechTips

    My eyes thank you!
  10. I cannot sell my Alienware X51

Let's say someone had given me your X51 for my birthday & it was my only rig. I would replace the parts with the ones I really wanted & sell each part as I replaced it. I do like the case.
  11. Show off your setup!

    Nice & clean!
  12. Show off your setup!

There is something to be said for stark --- if it's mirrored!
  13. Show off your setup!

A lot cleaner setup than one would expect with an empty bottle of Jack, LOL!
  14. Improve my PcPartPicker List!

I'd have to see some serious proof against the Silverstone PSU before I'd change that --- it's not £40 worse than an EVGA that I've yet to hear.
  15. Linus receiver Review.... Maybe

Titled: How to Build the ULTIMATE Surround Gaming PC Build Guide, this video doesn't even remotely come close to "surround gaming". For one thing, it's only semi-wrap-around, & the main point is that it completely ignores surround audio. It does mention headphones --- no possible surround sound to be found there, I don't care how many tiny little drivers they cram into a can! Has no headphone manufacturer noticed that no 2 sets of human ear lobes are exactly the same? Until there's a plug going directly to your cerebral cortex, (at which point, they could also do away with monitors for video), it takes satellite speakers to produce surround sound, & something to change the PC output sound to discrete channels for the separate speakers. I'd like to see a proper system for doing that, that doesn't put me in sticker shock.
