Save yourself the trouble proving anything, let him enjoy his own computer as best he can, and be happy knowing YOUR able to get facts right after discussion, whether now or in the future,....without too much trouble, but your friend,.. prob wont listen even if you have 100% full-proof fact with reviews and performance numbers...... he wont care.

You're right it's just so hard to see someone next to me think like this and then go on about it ; - ; it's annoying. But I have actually learned a lot from this thread from various people who have gone into depth about what a cycle is and what the architecture does. Thanks to everyone.
