Aaand no debt, or age limitations, or hoops to jump through, or not spending money that's not yours. Sure you could just pay off the credit card immediately, but that's more steps to buying an $80 SSD.

Not spending money that's yours: This is dependent on your mindset. If you view your credit card like a debit card and pretend your limit doesn't exist, then you can use your credit card like a debit card. My credit limit could be infinity for all I care, i'll still pay it off at the end of the month to avoid interest charges.

So if I pretend my mortgage isn't there it effectively isn't? If I pretend college doesn't have tuition, it doesn't? You're still creating debt even if you immediately pay it off. Yes you build credit, but we're talking about an $80 ssd. All I wanted to do was point out a deal I found and you had to turn this into one of your opinionated financial rants. No one asks for your homebrew monetary strategies, and it's tacky to talk about how much money you have. If you've found a way to spend smart and be successful, congratulations, keep it to yourself because no one asked for your advice on how to buy an SSD.
