Man, up scaling your video to 4k really helps youtube bit rates. This looks so much better than 1080p

It's really telling when the youtube preset bit rate in premiere for 4k is 5x higher than 1080p.

Whenever I go to 4K I get tons of dropped frames :(. Same with 1440p60 (not on this vid obvs, but in general). My internet can handle it though so that means my 750 Ti can't? I feel like it should be able to no problem.

Yknow whats fun? Recording video at 1080p, encoding to 4k, uploading at 4k, compression at 4k, downscaling to 720p.

That's what I have right now.

@BingoFishy it may or may not be the GPU but it's definitely a rendering issue.  If it was internet speed issue it would stop completely to buffer, but if it plays continuously, just not smoothly, it's how it's rendering.  Make sure you have hardware acceleration turned on in Chrome: if it still happens, it's the GPU probably, but if that fixes it, then that was the problem :P

@Ryan_Vickers I went to chrome://flags and enabled all the GPU accelerated stuff. If anything, it got worse :(.

Edit: Everything works great on Opera, so I guess it's a chrome issue? Any ideas?

Also on Chrome even the UI lags like crazy.

Opera can't handle 8K though. 4K60 is highest.

Dropped frames at  8K. Also 60mbps internet can't handle it.
