    In diskmanagement it says the HDD is not initialized and unallocated.

    Well Windows 10 should be coming out in Juneish so It wont be long until the full thing is out
     
    You can either.. install Linux or something for free and wait to buy 10 when it ships
     
    Or buy a copy of windows 8.1 and install that , and upgrade to 10 when it comes out for free
