  1. I already considered it, and in fact, it was the first motherboard I've chosen, but it is one PCIe Slot short. I can't fit 3 Dual Slot and 2 Single Slot PCIe Cards in a regular ATX form factor, since there's not enough slots. (3 Titan X's and two PCIe SSD's) And the reason why I want three Titan X's is because of massive rendering and gaming power, and I'll be using three 2560x1440p and one 3840x2160p monitors, so I'll need enough gpu horse power to push all of those many pixels.
  2. If you're talking about the hard SLI bridge like this, I can jerk it between the PCIe SSD's or do something to make it fit (although I don't think it would be a problem since the PCIe SSD is not so tall anyways) and if it still doesn't fit, then I'll just use the plastic black SLI bridge from ASUS and do something to cover it up, although it is still technically in the White/Black Color Scheme, so it might just work out. EDIT: See?
  3. Thanks everyone for all the help, although I am quite picky with colors and I'm trying to go with White/Black Color Scheme with Add-on Purple LED's on the case .... so I don't think I'll be using some of those motherboards you suggested, sorry. Anyways, what I am most concerned with is how the SLI config with the 750 SSD's will gonna work. I don't know if that config (as shown on the picture) would even work. So, if anyone knows, can you please tell me? Thanks alot
  4. that's the first motherboard I picked, although I'm not sure about the 3-way SLI config + the two Intel 750 SSD's ..... can you tell me if it will work? (as shown on the picture)
  5. Hello, I am trying to build a PC that will suite my needs, but I'm having difficulty finding the right motherboard. The requirements are: -White/Black or Black Motherboard (with no extra colors, if not, anything Monochrome will do) -Intel X99 Motherboard with NVMe, 3-way SLI, and RAID Support -2x SATA-Express Slots -2x Gigabit Ethernet Ports -64GB DDR4 Memory Quad-Channel -Be able to fit 3-way Titan X SLI with 2 Intel 750 PCIe SSD's OR.... Be able to fit 3-way Titan X SLI with 1 Intel 750 PCIe SSD's but with 2 M.2 Slot M Slots -Atleast one M.2 Slot And these are the optionals (would prefer if the motherboard have these features, if possible) -Back IO USB 3.1 (Type A or Type C) -Atleast 4 USB 3.0 ports [back IO] -Front IO 4x USB 3.0 -BIOS Reset Button (or any way to reset the BIOS) -One Click Overclock/Optimize Button These are the hardwares I am trying to put inside the system. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BRcxdC (CPU and GPU's is going to be water-cooled [custom loop] ) Possible Match: Asus X99E-WS Motherboard ...If this 3-Way SLI Config is possible, then all of my problems are solved. But I'm not sure if this is even possible, can anyone tell me? Also, nevermind the ridiculousness of the build that I'm trying to do, I'm just doing this for fun Notes: Reason for 2x SATA-Express: 2x Hitachi HDD's in RAID 0 with SSD Cache .... don't judge Reason for Samsung SM951: SSD Cache for Hitachi HDD's .... don't judge Reason for the M.2 Slot M Slots: One for Samsung SM951, One for Intel 750 2.5" in case two PCIe SSD's can't fit on the PCIe Slots. Reason for 2x Gigabit Ethernet: One for Ethernet LAN Internet Access, One for NAS Reason for 3x Titan X: Rendering/Gaming Beast, could've gone with Xeon E5-2699 v3 but it isn't so friendly with overclocking/some games/some programs
  6. So ..... I just registered an account to Vessel minutes before Linus posted that video where he said "Don't sign up to Vessel yet, 'cause we don't have a referral link ... yet." or something like that, but now, I checked on my mail inbox and saw a one-year free access to all beta users. So, now what? Can I still subscribe to LinusTechTips on Vessel after the one-year free access for beta users? I'm getting a little bit confused here. oh, and btw Username: Adleviade
  7. OMG Linus <3 Luke ... lol Username: Adleviade Links: https://www.vessel.com/videos/LfeWQ2aO3 https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy
  8. Well, is it safe to daisy chain two '8-way 4-pin PWM splitters' with 13x LepaTek LEPA LP-BOL12P-R (0.25 A) and 1x BitFenix BFF-SPRO-P14025KK-RP (0.40 A±10%) fans /[3.69A max. total current]/ .... and then connect it to the motherboard 'CPU_Fan' header? How about the OC Panel bundled with the ASUS R5E motherboard? And to daisy chain the splitters, I would need something like this right? (Dual Molex and fan header extension)
  9. is there any "good" brand that have 14-way 4-pin PWM fan headers for all these 14x 4-pin fans? (or 2x 8-way 4-pin PWM fan headers if that will work --- I've seen the Swiftech 8-way PWM Splitter, but I've yet to find a compatible fan controller)
  10. All of those only have 3-pin males I need 4-pins, mostly because all of my fans are 4-pins (PWM) EDIT: Now I've seen a ModMyToys 4-Pin PWM Power Distribution PCB 8x Way Block (MMT-PCB-8P-44P) ... the bad news is, FrozenCPU is closed, and I'm not sure if two of these would even work on a singe fan controller (still looking for a fan controller too btw)
  11. What specific 4-pin PWM fan splitter do you recommend? And, I do not like the pump+res combo .... so I've gone with this standalone pump and res instead.
  12. Hi, I am just posting everything here just to check if there's any compatibility issue or any components that I've missed. I've been thinking about building a custom water cooling loop for over a week now, and finally, I've put up the components that I will use for my system. Please help me if there's any issues here or if there's any optimization needed, thanks. Build: Intel i7-5930K (EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme - Intel 2011-3) Asus Rampage V Extreme EVGA GTX 980 SuperClocked ACX 2.0 SLI (Arctic Silver 5) Corsair 900D (9x LEPA LP-BOL12P-R 120mm fan --intake, 4x fans ---exhaust for rad, 1x BitFenix BFF-SPRO-P14025KK-RP 140mm fan --rear exhaust) [All of these are PWM, but I have no idea how to configure them, and it also seems that the mobo lacks 4-pin fan headers for all these fans, so... how?] Water Cooling Build: CPU+MOBO MONOBLOCK: EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock - Nickel .....(1pc) GPU FULLCOVER BLOCK: EK-FC980 GTX - Nickel ................................(2pcs) TUBINGS: TUBE PrimoChill PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ 12,7 / 9,5mm - Crystal Clear (PFLEXA-12) .........(1pc) RADIATOR: EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (480) .................(1pc) PUMP: EK-XTOP D5 PWM - Plexi (incl. pump) ......(1pc) RESERVOIR: EK-RES X3 250 ...............................................(1pc) TERMINAL (SLI): EK-FC Terminal TRIPLE Parallel - Plexi & EK-FC Terminal BLANK Parallel .................(1pc. each) COOLANT: EK-Ekoolant EVO Blood RED (premix 1L) (3pcs) FITTINGS: EK-ACF Fitting 10/13mm - Black .................(12pcs) Add. Info: I will be putting the rad at the top of the case in a push-configuration with 4x LEPA LP-BOL12P-R 120mm Fan. The terminals will be used to link the two SLI graphics cards (will be overclocked, not sure what's the optimized OC config yet) to the water cooling system. The cards will use the 1st and 3rd port in the motherboard. The Asus R5E monoblock will be used for overclocking (not sure what's the optimized OC config. yet for this build). Not sure about the fittings yet. The premixed coolant is reasonable, and won't be using plain distilled water. The pump and res will go like this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And finally, where can I buy these, and how much (total)? Simply converting € to $ is not accurate enough. Also, thanks ..an installation guide would be helpful too, but I think I'm asking for too much...
  13. Well, now I got really confused .... again Is it wise to buy the O2/ODAC with the Creative Sound Blaster Omni 5.1 Surround just for the SBX Studio from Creative? I tested the SBX Studio and it sounds REALLY nice. If paired with the O2/ODAC, would it make a difference, or just a waste of money? Or the SBX Studio with the 5.1 Surround is just bull (just like any other virtual surround sound devices) and I'm better off with the O2/ODAC alone?
  14. Ok, I got everything all sorted up now (well, most of it) ..... I want an Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1 and an Objective2 + ODAC Combo with Rear Power. I do no longer want virtual surround sound, or any sound card bull. The only thing left that I'm looking for is a good stereo speakers There's one more question remaining: What is the difference between an O2/ODAC and an external AMP/DAC? Thanks, everyone, for your help.
  15. Ok, I have everything sorted now. I want an Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1 with an Objective2 + ODAC Combo with Rear Power, and I don't want any virtual surround anymore. The only thing I'm looking for right now is a good stereo speakers. Also, is there any difference between the O2/ODAC and the AMP/DAC in terms of audio quality? This is the only question left which hasn't been clearly answered yet.
