Peter Griffin got a reaction from Hyydrah in Absolute most quiet CPU cooling solution?
not the quietest, but nearly as quiet as passive but with better performance

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Need help with M-ATX CPU cooler
The NH-L12 sounds ideal for you, and it also matches your PSU. It'll look nice.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Should I get an SSD?
You don't NEED it, but it's an awesome experience. At the very least have your OS on it, and your frequently used programs too if you can.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Redundant pumps or paralell loops?
That's what I meant to say. And is that your attempt at reducing the height of your post by using that font size? It's mightily effective, I'm sorry to all of you that had to scroll ALL the way down here

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Redundant pumps or paralell loops?
I'd recommend the single loop with one powerful pump such as the MCP-655 or MCP-35X

Does it make your kid perform better in school?

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in WD Velociraptors
Not at all. Just get an SSD for frequently accessed data, and a 7200RPM HDD for anything else.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Impossible to find a keyboard that fits these requirements? (Looking for a mechanical keyboard)
Blue backlighting won't though, in my opinion, which is what he's looking for.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Smoking..
What's wrong with it? You can't expect every thread to appeal to you. Besides, it's likely to be legalized within the next year or two, at least in Canada.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Change of OS
I think Google will be up to something by then. Chrome OS was a great idea, and Android is thriving.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Why To Choose 120hz Instead Of 60hz
It's not just refresh rate, but also response time as well. A good analogy is at a start of a race, the response time is comparable to the delay before the runner starts running after they are allowed to begin.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Hdmi Monitor Not Waking Up After Sleep
The interface used to connect the monitor seems irrelevant. Are you sure that you didn't change any settings within Windows?

Try moving the sound card to the furthest slot down.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Fans For Define R4
Check out my avatar, it's all in a Define R4. I LOVE Noctua's fans, there are 3 NF-A14's and 2 NF-F12's on the H100i.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in Fittings for the Sabertooth X79 and i7 3820
I don't know if you can, but personally I don't like the look of them. Maybe you should consider using 90 degree fittings with clear tubing.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in 120 hz glossy monitors
Not at all true. It enhances color saturation.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in What mouse manufacturer is best?
If you're looking to buy a mouse, you really shouldn't label each manufacturer as being good or bad, but rather judge each product individually. Many manufacturers offer a variety of products, some of which are amazing while others are complete failures.

Peter Griffin reacted to Hyydrah in First Build, Advice??
The 3930K is very comparable to the 3960X. It's great for video editing, but is overkill for most games.
As for the GPU, it really depends on what you play.
